Playing around with different trades between OKC and Washington; WAS has several vets I like that would make sense here.

From OKC:
Aaron Wiggins
Ousmane Dieng
Pick value (probably a mid-tier first? take your pick, no pun intended)

From WAS:
Malcolm Brogdon

Why for OKC:
Brogdon gives you a guy who can actually run offense on the bench, can score a little bit, fits with a lot of different lineups. He's also expiring, so you're not taking on a bunch of long-term salary.

Why for WAS:
WAS is in the middle of a rebuild; they're bottoming out. Getting a look at Dieng, seeing if Wiggins has some room to grow in a larger role and getting some pick value out of an expiring vet seems like a really good value for a team at this point in the rebuild. PG rotation isn't great here but they can push up a SG to PG or grab a vet off the waiver wire if they need that stabilizer. Or make a follow-up trade for someone cheap.

dont think washington should get any picks at all. Wiggins alone i have worth more than brogdon

Brogdon is hurt too often for this to work imo. And I’d want to also get a 3/4 from them if Wiggins is going out. On value, I’d only add a pick if Kispert is coming back.

Also I’d love to get Champagnie and convert his deal. Is that possible?

Agreed, it's crazy to me that anyone would think a few months rental of Brogdon at his age, availability and production would command a mid first. Really outlandish stuff.

I don't watch Washington and I tend to err on the conservative side when constructing deals. Usually if you make it a little too good for the other side you get more constructive conversation.

OKC doesn't really have bad money on the books, pretty much any filler you can find is automatically more valuable than Brogdon, probably more so.

I probably prefer not doing the deal, wiggins might be better going forward based on availability. I rather move Kenrich than wiggins but not sure if Presti thinks the same.
