Bogdan Bogdanovic value?

So, what is the value on this guy. I was thinking negative especially since ATL is shopping him.
32 years old. Statistics are down. Still game commentators are talking about how valuable he is.
Someone else suggested Bogdan being swapped for Nurkic. Is that even?
Phoenix could swap Grayson for JVal after that?
Add a pick and try to get Adams? Doubt Houston does that even for an overpay.

Bogi has a niche market for basically just the po teams. He hasn't been fully healthy for a while, and some team will gamble they can get him there for the stretch run.

I think his track record is such that a playoff team would move a meh expiring for him or a 2 year deal to a player they like less plus a minor asset.
If he doesn't work out, he can be used as expiring salary matching this summer, so his contract shouldn't be much of a hindrance.

PHX could trade Nurkic for him because he makes slightly less. I don't see that being useful to them on the service. Between Booker/Beal/Allen/Dunn/ONeale they have plenty of guys at the SG/SF spot. They could move Allen for a Center like you suggest, but I think they'd just cut out the middle step and try to use Nurkic's deal in that trade instead so they can keep Allen who they probably prefer to Bogi.
If a team prefers Bogi to Nurkic I could see a 3-team scenario though. I assume ATL will try to sell Nance and Capela at the deadline for value now that Johnson is out, so they could use Nurkic to fill backup minutes to OO.

I'm a fan of his, I haven't followed the Hawks much this season but I love his game, he performed great at the Olympics just months ago, and his age isn't such that, with a game predicated on skill, you couldn't extract a couple more useful years out of him. Expirings + a few SRPs sounds fair, I'd like him on the Spurs as a solid character vet to surround Wemby but I don't think Spurs have the right offer on the table for the Hawks (matching expirings who could help now). But some team should do it and be happy with it later on.

Honestly, probably negative right now. Guy hasn't been able to throw it in the ocean all season. Obviously playoff teams can always use another bench shooter, but who is giving up value and just crossing their fingers that he gets out of this massive slump before playoff time?

What PO team has $15M+ in matching expiring salary and for whom his $16M next year won't cause tax issues if he doesn't work out?
I cannot think of a team that has the salary and wants to risk havong to pay to dump him next year.

He’s been really decent for a long time. So think expirings or matching money and 2nds is fair.
Nurk with Allen follow up makes sense for Phoenix.
Could see logic for GSW to take the chance on him if they’re not doing anything bigger.
A not good idea is Nance/Bogdan for Demar/Len with Atlanta throwing in a couple 2nds.
