Hornets/Bucks Bridges/Middleton How is it balanced?

Simple trade...
Miles Bridges/Curry for Middleton

Middleton has one year less on his contract, while giving them a veteran mentor, stabilizer for their reconstruction...

Bridges gives them the extra scoring punch they need, he's younger and most importantly, he's usually available to play...he also makes less money and is on a declining contract, which will save the Bucks a ton of money in taxes.

Who says no? Who should add?

I genuinely don’t know how much Charlotte value Miles or how much they want to get rid of him.

He started the season poorly but he’s been playing well lately. I can’t see much interest in Middleton though.

I think Hornets can use high character guy like Middleton

I don't think Milwaukee would want to to this

I think the market for Bridges is somewhere between tiny and non-existent. He's a negative on and off-court. If teams want inefficient scorers who offer little else, go get RJ Barrett and save yourself the PR headaches. The Bucks trying to win around Giannis/Dame definitely don't want to mess with this guy.

You can find this without taking on the Middleton risk for a lot less.

I mean look at who goes out. The risk isn't on the Charlotte end....

Sounds like such a cancer, but hey you know better than an NBA coach dealing with him everyday

Bucks don’t want or need a weak defending inefficient shooting wife beater

I have his criminal record more compelling than coachs statement...

Really? Yes please show it I don't think anyone has heard about it or ever brought it up before.

If every time his name is mentioned there is going to be 15 posts like this then we should just black ball his name from the trade board, because the conversation can never go anywhere constructive.

I didn't bring it up initially, I did mention that Middleton is a respected veteran in this league and this can help the Hornets, you countered with the coachs statement about Bridges, which I find very weak given his history on and off the court.
If I have a strong feeling about certain players name in trade talks, best course of action is avoiding the threads, not demand everyone to align by my line of thinking.

If we going for a vet I would rather have one who can actually still play if I'm Charlotte. We already have Taj for that role.

I mention it because its relevant not to take shots at him or Charlotte. Just as when Kyrie talks came up, people correctly brought up all his baggage, just as in Butler talks we have to bring up his.

Gets old people making things personal that aren't. But that stuff absolutely impacts his market. I refuse to play dumb and pretend otherwise because people get needlessly offended.

It is very funny to me that two Mavs fans that feel the need to voice their opinion on Bridges any chance they can get... support a team, spend all their time talking about team that employs a coach that has the same charges.....

Maybe I should derail every Mavs trade thread by posting about what a POS Jason Kidd is. Player X would have no interest in going to a team to be coached by a horrible person and a horrible franchise that would employ him. You know because that is relevant to bring up any time the topic is brought up.

You would have been better off just calling him a woman beater like everyone else.

He's not a bad person in the locker room. Never caused any trouble with his teammates. His off the court situation is what caused people to question his attitude. Miles doesn't cause problems on the court that's just false.

His problem on the court is he isn't really a positive impact player but he makes big money. And I specifically don't get into the specifics because I'm not trying to re-litigate. Just mention that he has a lot of baggage because it impacts his trade value and there are team that wouldn't touch him at all.

This shouldn't be controversial at all.

Awful deal for Charlotte.

Miles is going back to his driving game and bully ball that made him borderline AS before his long layoff.

Lately he's been filling the box score with points, rebounds, assists. He's the best free throw shooter on the team, can draw fouls, handle the rock. Plus he hit 40% on threes at his peak prior to the layoff.

If they work on his shot selection and 3's this offseason with the right shooting coach, he's going to be very valuable. Plus his contract declines.

I still firmly believe Hornets made the right choice between PJ and Miles.

And I wouldn't want to sell low on Miles. We have the Mavs top-2 protected 2027 1st and they're teetering play-in with Luka addicted to American fast food.

Also surprising how so many non-Hornets fans want to "help" Charlotte "unload" Miles.

Have you all not taken the hint?

We just signed him. If the plan was to unload him, they would've never done that. If there was urgency, we never put money on the line.

You think we're trying to buy a 1st round pick for 75 million dollars?

No need to devalue him. We are keeping him and this goes back to dealing PJ. We could've kept PJ and not signed Miles.

how to summon a braindead parrot
create a realgm thread titled "Miles Bridges for X"

squawking commences

obviously no rebuilding team wants old washed ass Khris Middleton playing 22 games this season lol
