Wizards get: Middleton/Vincent
Raptors get: Pat C / 2025 and 2027 2nd from Wiz via PHX
Bucks get: Butler/Val
Lakers get: Brock/Beauchamp / 2031 2nd from Bucks
Heat get: Kuzma/Hachimura/2027 1st from Wiz / 2031 1st from Lakers

Why Wizards - Get out of Kuz contract -
Why Raptors - get two 2nds for taking on Pat C contract
Why Bucks - Roll the dice on Butler
Why Lakers - Get a Rim protector in Brock
Why Heat - Get two 1st for taking on Kuzma contract and a useful player in Hach

No thanks on Kuzma. What a lousy player.

Does "Brock" refer to Brook Lopez?

Heat are going to complain because of Kuzma's longterm money. And I think a Kuzma for Middleton swap is better for the Bucks then sending out two starters and your defensive anchor to bring in Butler.

This barely fits under Toronto 1st tax apron. I am not sure they want just a couple seconds to take on $10 million of salary next year for a player they really have no plans for

Kuzma sucks I wouldn’t take him on the Bucks for free let alone give up any sort of asset for him.

Wizards 2nd is pick 31 this year. Probably not a ton better in '27. I could see Toronto asking for some cash, but those are two awesome 2nds.

He's having an outlier-bad season on a losing team that is asking him to sacrifice for the young guys. He's proven before he can be a good role player in a winning environment. I'd much rather take a chance on Kuz then lose a Center who fits great next to Giannis and pay Butler a max for three more years then have to trade Butler the moment you decide not to extend him again.

Middleton for Kuzma + Bey/Kispert

I don’t think it’s an outlier, I don’t he has ever been as good his stats were and he’ll be on the wrong side of 30 next year. Inefficient, can’t shoot, can’t hit FTs, doesn’t defend. Why would the Bucks want that? How does that fit sound next to Giannis? Him being an okay roleplayer a half decade ago in LA is irrelevant to now & going forward.

The Wizards have like -3 wins this year. Not sure trading an upcoming draft pick is in the cards for them.

Yeah I read it as 2025 and 2027 Suns second. Toronto does have a second via Portland this year. This move probably pushes them into the 1st luxury apron next year as they would have their first plus have to sign players to fill out the roster

Yeah I missed this. No chance they trade a 1st to turn Kuzma into $43m of salary for players they can't use next year.

Also, the "1st" they already owe the Knicks is Top 10 protected this year and Top 8 next year, so they can't even trade their '27.

Wizards arent trading a pick for this, what a ridiculous notion
