Lakers
*2 separate deals as Kleber can't be aggregated

Maxi Kleber + Christian Wood & Cam Reddish
25 2nd, 26+30 swaps & 31 1st
For
Jalen Smith & Guerschon Yabusele + Andre Drummond

Lakers get 3 healthy bigs
I guess this post is more about getting an idea for the values of these bigs, but if LA could swing either one it would be a big help

Smith / Drummond / Hayes
James / Yabusele
Finney-Smith / Hachimura
Doncic / Knecht
Reaves / Vanderbilt / Vincent

76ers

Guerschon Yabusele + Andre Drummond
For
Christian Wood & Cam Reddish
25 LAL 2nd, 26+30 LAL swaps

Sixers prepare to re-adjust again in FA this off-season
Thinking thats their plan after moving Martin for an expiring

Embiid / Bona
George / Edwards
Oubre / Council
Grimes / Gordon
Maxey / Lowry / McCain

Bulls

Jalen Smith
For
Maxi Kleber + 31 LAL 1st

Bulls surely got a busy Trade Deadline ahead of them after moving LaVine
A 1st that far down the road holds some more value vs a short term 1st from a contender, if that's the asking price for Smith

Vucevic / Collins / Kleber
Williams / Buzelis
Dosonmu / Terry
Giddey / Ball
White / Jones

These are big overpays by the Lakers. And they don't need to do all that.

This is brutally bad for LA.

IMO Reddish & Wood for Drummond straight works for us.

While the two swaps look like an overpay, LAL is going to be better than us down the road with Luca and LA as a market, so those don't really impress me. I would much rather us hold on to Yabuselle and resign him long term.

Jalen Smith is on a very team friendly contract that he just signed, he's part of any rebuild. Your chart shoots down your own trade, the Bulls give up their back up center for an older 3rd string Kleber That 2031 pick is 6 years from how do people just not get that would be good for the 2nd rebuild to come?

He can be part of a rebuild, sure, but he's a backup center. If anything, bottoming out is a good thing for the Bulls right now. They can find some guys who can be competent centers for second round picks if they need to rebalance the roster (e.g., Micah Potter has been a two-way player with Utah for a few years and I think he is deserving of a standard contract and can play 20-25 minutes a night of NBA-level basketball), but if an unprotected pick is offered for Smith they should do it. Picks are the easiest trade assets in the league b/c they don't require matching salary, and if you don't find a trade you like then you can make the pick down the road.

In a vacuum as a fan I would take the 31 first for Smith in an instant, yeah Luka is only 25 but you never know what could happen in six years.

However, a crappy GM like Karsinovas is probably thinking he won't be running the Bulls in 2031 and isn't going to be interested.
