Mavs/Bulls/Suns and NOP

Post#1 » by Astaluego » Wed Feb 5, 2025 11:20 am

MAVS
In:Vucevic/J.Green/D.Theis
Out: Gafford/Marshall/Powell

The Mavs are going to play a lot of minutes with 2 bigs. Vuc is one of the best 3-point shooters in his position and will provide space and elite rebounds. He is also a good passer for the position and will help mitigate the lack of playmaking.

BULLS
In:Nurkic/Marshall/FRP 25(by Suns)
Out: Vucevic/THT

At the beginning of their rebuild, they get the FRP they wanted for Vuc and a wing entering its prime that could offer them more value later on.

SUNS
In: Gafford/THT
Out:FRP 25/Nurkic

They improve in a position of need...while getting rid of a relationship that has become toxic

NOP
In:Powell+ 2SRP
Out:J.Green/Theis

sell a couple of veterans who are not part of the future for a few small assets...they also gain depth and above all a good professional and mentor who will help with the culture

thinking about value and direction??who should send the SRPs to NOP..?

The Bulls are going to pass. They have no real need for Marshall, he's not enough of a shooter and they have Buzelis and Phillips plus Williams at the 3 now, if anything they need size. Nurkic makes as much as Vucevic for just as long and he's nowhere near the player. So they're getting stuck with less talent for a pick in the mid 20's? No thanks
