Hornets/Bulls....Z.Collins/J.Green

Post#1 » by Astaluego » Thu Feb 6, 2025 8:19 am

simple change 1 x 1...

The Bulls get the youngest and cheapest player at the beginning of their reconstruction, he is also a repeat card, since he has similar strengths and weaknesses to their other 2 centers (Smith/Vuc)...

The Hornets get a Pivot to fill the hole in the frontcourt. Collins gives them another center profile that they lack, one that can theoretically "spread the floor" a little bit. Would this be a good fit for Miles or a future trade for Zion?

thought???
What do you think of the value?
Maybe it should be Jalen Smith instead of ZCollins (Micic+#34 for JSmith?)and the HORNETS send a good SRP to the Bulls.?

It does appear that the Hornets need a center, or at least a very tall employee. Zach Collins would be the tank guy to get for two years. Vucevic would give them the appearance of respectability, stability and maybe a mentor. The Bulls are not tearing t down, Smith is part of their future not either of the veterans.

I don't see Green getting past the Bulls' first 4 guards, just close to Huerter, Jones, THT

Trading Williams makes it look like CHA is throwing in the towel for a couple of years, trading Bridges for Vucevic and Carter would at least knock one year off of Miles' contract.
