Super superstars that have yet to hit their prime are never traded.

The grizz front office on trading for Marcus smart.

I thought DET might leverage its cap space for something major, add a significant asset

I was wrong: DET ended up frittering away its cap space with minor moves. At least they addressed the glaring hole at backup PG

Except one deal, all the deals felt pretty good? They all seemed reasonable and pretty win/wi ln, unless it involved your team and it was terrible value…until it was done and then it was amazing obviously?

My only crow, besides Dallas, is the teams that did nothing or didn’t do a lot (OKC, Houston, Portland, Chicago)… would’ve bet they had deadline deals lined up to further their direction.. And they didn’t.. But that’s not really crow to me. Just annoyed fan bases.. I thought Phoenix would’ve upgraded their roster and gone for it? But we all did..

So all mine is Dallas based. For the deal they did and the deals they didn’t do. Skipping Luka. Who wants to see Spencer, Hardy, Exum, Naji as the secondary playmakers for a playoff run?

Did not think the Lakers would swing big on their Center of the Future. Expected a Capela/RWIII type move.

Thought the Bucks were sure to trade either Portis or Lopez. I guess Kuz is starting at the 3.

Thought Marcus Smart still had some value.

I am (pleasantly) surprised that the Warriors actually pulled the trigger on a major trade

I didn't think Miami would take a three year deal

Yeah definitely should join you here. This one didn’t make sense to me at all

Eating Crow on what Fox was worth. I still think he is worth much more (24/13 last night, and will instantly become america's sweetheart leaving Sac), but I misread how toxic the locker room had become along with forgetting how bad Monte is.

Didn't think Pelicans could get a 1st for Ingram

Didn't think Washington would get 2 1st (can we count Johnson as a 1st?) for Kuzma

Much more to come

i definitely assumed Melo+Mark+Miller was a trio of borderline untouchable young players we'd be building around

I think your general concept -- "Miami doesn't want contracts that will interfere with FA in two years" -- was generally right. It's just that Wiggins was a positive value 3-year deal that Miami didn't see as risky.

Even if Wiggins got injured tomorrow, Miami could get off Wiggins contract for free this summer. And Spo usually makes everyone look better. I don't think Wiggins interferes with Miami's future FA goals. Who knows, he might even be a valuable matching salary for S&T purposes.

Nico is all about the defence . He don’t need much playmaking on the team .

Not at you* specifically..

A lot of people see “Spencer Dinwiddie” and remember what he was and think.. that’s not bad off the bench… but it is.

But not to Kidd/Nico/Venetian. So what do I know? Go Mavs.

Thought someone might take Jaden Springer as a flier. Nope had to pay to dump him. Stevens seemed to think he still has real potential and seemed reluctant to have let him go, but nobody else does lol.

I thought the Magic front office would finally do something to address the shooting/playmaking issues we've had for multiple seasons, but I guess I was overly optimistic and should have known better based on their track record.

Think only problem with Fox is he plays the most competitive position in the league. It’s rare a playoff team needs offensive pg help. Even bad teams usually have decent PGs.

Think Fox gravity due to his speed is a bit underrated. He creates a lot of easy possessions.
