With the trade deadline passed, let's all predict who are team might buy out. Create a list of all the possible buy out scenarios.


Kings need to add roster spots. Therefore no buy out imminent.

Give a list of likely guys so I don’t have to work at my leisure.

Lakers got an open roster spot as a result of the Mark Williams trade. Maybe a second or third depending if they see someone of need and they can probably waive Christian Wood (who knows what's happening with his rehab), or Markieff Morris.

Lakers, as a 1st apron team, can't sign anyone currently making over the MLE (12.8 mil). Probably looking at least a defensive guard on the buyout market. They could also convert one or both of their two-way contracts in Koloko/Jamison into a minimum if nothing else than to reward them to keeping the Lakers center position afloat.

They can use up to 3.8 mil (from their MLE).

Can't sign anyone currently making over the MLE as a 1st apron team

I know Clippers and Grizz both made moves to get under the 1st apron, so they get first dibs on any of the bigger free agents. Rockets, Spurs, Kings and Thunder are under as well if they spot a free agent they want.

hoping some combo of Taj, Jeffries, Reddish, Seth are bought out so we can cycle some 10-days at PG, PF, and C

Patty Mills is the only possible candidate, but even that, I doubt

I would rather Lonny walker over any of these buyout bums

I think lakers will sign Josh Richardson. Lakers looking for a defensive guard and he's played with both JJ and Luka in the Mavs days
