HAWKS
In:DDR
Out:T.Mann/Niang/3 SRP

The Hawks get another star to put alongside Trae/JJ.. He should be a good mentor for Risacher as he develops, helping tremendously with his scoring and playmaking.

KINGS
In:D.Murray
Out:DDR/Carter/Spurs FRP(lot pro)

Kings get a 2-way guard who should be a perfect fit to win now...he is also a very good friend of Lavine which would help with team chemistry.

Murray/Ellis/Lavine/Murray/Sabonis
+Monk/Valanciunas/*LaRavia?

NOP
In:T.Mann/D.Carter/Niang/FRP Spurs 27/3 SRP
Out:D.Murray

They recover the value paid for Murray, they get a lottery prospect in Carter. At the top of this Draft where they will choose, there are very good guard prospects(Harper/Jaku/Denim/Johnson...)

Why are the Kings going for a guard?

I think they have left a huge hole with the departure of Fox...who do they have to play PG??the rookie Carter??...Monk is more suited to the 2 (or a 6 man in my opinion)..I also think Murray would help with the defense

Can’t see any team trading for Dejounte Murray as he recovers from Achilles surgery with 3 years left on his contract.

Dejounte pre injury would have been a good target as we pivoted from fox.

Id cut out the pelicans and take the hawks package.

I am not sure how much the Hawks would covet a 36 year old DDR.

Confused how a win now player is a guy who just tore his achilles and who knows the recovery period for him for next season.

He's really not though. These are the words of someone who hasn't seen Malik play much in the last year.

Malik Monk is a PG who primarily thrives off of a DHO/PnR game with Sabonis where HE is the primary ballhandler. I know this isn't always who he's been so the more general fanbase isn't used to it, but trust me as a Kings fan: it's who he is now.
