2025-26 Zion: If he isn't a Pelican, he will be...

If Zion is dealt this off-season, where could you see him going? Which teams would make the most sense to try to hit on his ceiling and give reasonable value to New Orleans?

I want to say the Lakers could just add expirings to the Mark Williams package, but... you can't do Zion and Luka, right? I've never been to LA, but I imagine the food is good. Yeah, you can't do Zion and Luka...

I see Brooklyn or Charlotte as the most likely. Though I'm not seeing a huge return for Zion (which may just mean that NO keeps him).

Yeah, NOP keeping Zion makes sense the way Charlotte keeping LaMelo makes sense. They help sell tickets for smaller markets and both are locked up for a bit.

Wouldn't mind taking a swing on him. AS Game coming to Intuit, so Ballz probably would mind acquiring a big name. Unfortunately, I don't see a route to it. I mean, Powell/Bogdan would make the money work, but makes no sense for New Orleans and I doubt FranknCo deal Powell to try to hit a grand slam on an intentional walk throw.

For some reason, I feel Golden State or Toronto might, but probably wrong, as per usual

Very good, unless you want good southern staples like BBQ and soul food, we were kinda disappointed by that after moving here from Alabama.

Which ... if someone from LA can steer me in the right direction ... I've heard Inglewood has some places.

I always say Charlotte especially if we don't get a top 3 pick.

He makes the most sense with a PG like Melo.

Dr Hogly Woglys in the Valley is in my top 5 of BBQ joints I've been too.

With all of us in different locations on this board, there should be a "if you're ever in XYZ area, you gotta eat at ABC restaurant" thread haha

Does anyone else see MIA making some sense? I was gonna make a post for it, but something around Bam for Zion? Who has more value there?? I think it makes some sense for both sides. Only issue is NO has Missi not very playable next to Bam. But I think Zion would do best with a floor spacing 5 like Ware and in a good organization to reach his potential.

Bam spaces the floor more than Ware due to his passing ability and DHO ability.

I don't see New Orleans adding value to Zion to get Bam, which is what it would take to pry Bam from Miami.

I think it's more that NO won't trade Zion away without a 'star' level return but other teams won't offer that - only discount offers with minor assets.

Yea pretty dangerous to put these 2 guys together. One the basketball dominance, and two the one upmanship to see who can eat more or work out less

I do want Zion in Brooklyn, but I'm wary of the price point and obviously the conditioning stuff.

What do NOP fans feel is a fair trade value for Williamson? I'm assuming either a S&T involving one of our RFAs or just straight capspace would be the Nets' angle, plus appropriate sweetener.
