Why do you say that Miami has a glut of power forwards?

They have Bam, Kevin Love (who is 36 and probably will retire soon) and Jovic.

At shooting guard they have Herro, Alec Burks, Pelle Larsson, and Rozier can play there at times. I'm not sure if they really need another guard.

Saying Jacquez and Anderson can play power forward, so our 6th man is expendable, doesn't work. We're building around the strength of our frontcourt and Jovic is a big part of that. We have tons of perimeter players, including our four rotation wings in Herro (he had been our point guard but Mitchell has taken that role), Wiggins, Robinson, and Jacquez (we also have Highsmith and Burks who play on the wing). What we don't have is great big-man depth outside of Bam, Ware, and Jovic. We have Anderson who's a tweener, Highsmith who is a wing, Love who is a geriatric, and Johnson who is a developmental guy. Jacquez shouldn't be playing at power forward.

Miami is going to pass on this deal. Jovic is too important to the team...

appreciate the feedback/insight. I figure Wiggins will be moved to make space for 2026 capspace so they could use a cheaper replacement 3/D wing to start next to Herro, but i see Jovic is too important to you guys to trade away.

I think a guy like Agbaji has more value to a team that doesn't feel confident it can unearth that sort of 3+D guy like Miami has done repeatedly (Caleb Martin, Highsmith most recently). Definitely more value to that sort of team on the RealGM trade board. To Miami, he's just a solid wing, but to Denver or the Lakers he'd be a big upgrade on guys like Strawther/Vincent in their roles.

Toronto says no Agbaji has a pretty high value for them. He's a great POA defender and he is a reliable 3pt shooter. They will probably resign him and continue using him as the back up SF.

Miami would need to come up with picks or a first rounder to extract Agbaji. Agbaji was a late lottery pick not too long ago and his values been increased by the Raptors.

We're quite happy with Jovic and have no need for Agbaji.
