In a vacuum so take specific team fit out of it, assuming the matching salary is useless expiring contracts... what 2025 1st is KD currently worth?

That would be my only offer for Kevin Durant. You might be able to haggle 2 additional 2nd round picks, but unlikely.

So a negative contract in Jalen Green, a negative value in Jock, and a pick in the late lottery?

I mean if that is your opinion, sure.

Can you explain how Jock Landale is positive value?

Let's just start with if you actually even know what Landales contract is.

You could have just saved yourself some keystrokes by saying
"I don't want my team to trade for KD unless Phoenix hired Nico Harrison as GM this offseason."

Well a portion of it needs to be guaranteed if you are trading him, no?
So how much are you guaranteeing here?

I'll be straight with you, some people understand the complexities of dealing with this incredibly complicated CBA, and some people just don't. If you don't get it, that's all good.

I think Dort has clear positive value, Topic still holds positive value and Hartenstein could be argued is neutral on his contract.
What draft pick does this equate to then?

What don't I understand?
Jock Landale's contract is non-guaranteed but it has to be guaranteed in order to be traded
If I am missing something, instead of being condescending, maybe provide an explanation. We are all friends here.

He is implying Landale is just expiring filler like OP asks. the value is in the PHX 1st, although i agree including Jalen Green decreases value of overall package

How would that implication be supported by their statement about the complications of the CBA?
Seems straight-forward that Jock Londale is expiring filler.
Maybe they are having a bad night
