Miami/Sac

Assuming neither team gets further in post season than is expected at this moment….

DDR/Val/Devin Carter/Kings next available unprotected first/Spurs 27 unprotected/Minny 31 unprotected for Bam/Highsmith

Kings go big. Sabonis/Bam/Murray/Lavine/Monk

Miami decides it needs to retool and moves to Ware at C and pushes value other places. DDR gives them a closer while they reshape that team, Val paired with Ware gives them size and insurance, and Carter is IMO a very Riley player. Then there’s the three unprotected firsts to fuel trades (Riley doesn’t rebuild through the draft) for the retool.

Seems like a move Miami wouldn't want to do. I also believe teams would pay more for Bam than this.

Putting Bam/Fox back together with Monk made some sense. Doing this, no thank you and Miami would want more than 3 x 1sts and a former lottery pick that hasn't shown anything. And if that's the case, then the Kings say no too. Everything is down with Bam at this point. He isn't worth the price it would take.

My thoughts exactly.

Not sure their is a "how much more" considering that he's kind of our guy. Unless we struggle mightily and feel the need to tear it down, I don't see him being dealt. Its one of those situations where someone would have to give up a Giannis - something totally unrealistic.

What happens with Ware?

What about him?

Bam is one of the most versatile bigs in the NBA. He would fit with a lot of bigs, and I see Ware having enough of a skill-set where they will fit well.

He starts next to Bam.... Just like he is, now.
