R.J. Barrett and Marcus Smart to Suns

Wizards get 2 picks for taking on Beal / Beal accepts finishing out this contract in Washington where he seemed comfortable. Beal could provide what Poole did on the court and what Smart did off of it.

Raptors add a pick and add a bench scorer without taking on longer salary than they send out in Barrett.

Suns take an aging Smart and underwhelming Barrett, but rebalance the roster nicely around a follow-up KD deal.

Phoenix can no longer trade the 2027 firsts due to trading the 2026 first.

Pretty easy no for the Raps. RJ may not get love, but he's been fine on Toronto. One of the worst picks in the 1s round 2 years from now is not enough for me to swap him for Poole

Poole isn't worth taking on for Toronto just to get the Cavs 2027 first. Toronto is pretty much capped out and adding $4-$6 million extra a year isn't worth it. I think Poole is a negative on this team. He's a horrible defender and I don't see Toronto wanting him as their sixth man. He would fit better on Orlando

It would have to be part of the KD trade for it to be legal I think. But it would cut the Raptors off from the trade.. Beal + 2 FRP (the one they have this year (now 29) and the one from 2027 for Smart/Middleton
