2 Kings trades with Dallas and Thunder
Trade 1: Dallas
DeMar DeRozan + 2 2nds for PJ + Powell + Prosper or Hardy
Why for the Mavs? DeMar would be a great piece to keep them going while Kyrie is out at the start of next year. This is of course assuming they miss on KD. Emergence of Naji along with Martin/AD/Lively/Gafford up front, makes PJ more expendable.
Trade 2 Thunder
Monk for Aaron Wiggins and Dieng
Why for Thunder? Add another ball handler/scorer to the roster. Monk is fairly paid, 27 years old, and has plenty to his game. He proved big for the Kings in our playoff series vs GS, and could be a great addition for OKC. Wiggins is nice, but they have 3-4 guys who play that same role.
Sabonis/JV
PJ Washington/LaRavia
Keegan/Wiggins
LaVine/Carter
Keon/ FA PG
Why for Sac? The trio of LaVine, Monk, DeRozan doesn't fit together and we need to make way for Keon and Carter. The team is hitched to LaVines massive deal for a few years, so try to build a better fitting team around this. We also have a pretty empty roster next year so a 5 for 2 is something that works for us. Ideally we would resign LaRavia and flip Dieng/Powell/Prosper for a point guard, or maybe use the MLE on someone like Schorder or CP3.

Money works better that way. Dallas doesn't need to include Powell, okc switches to Joe instead of Deing.

The team isn’t “hitched” to anything. Lavine was targeted by the Kings because he is an efficient volume scorer, and Spurs/Kings fans alike understand the Spurs probably should have kept Lavine for themselves over the inefficient non spacing negligible motored Fox.
Nobody cares about the defense only prism that seems to be common with a couple Kings fans. He’s the teams second best player and moves around the team will take that into affect. So you wouldn’t worry about making room for those other players in the face of him. You make moves to accentuate Lavine’s game, not the defensive role players

Are you a robot?
You regurgitate the same nonsense regardless of what's being said.
You realize that the point of my post was too do what you said "You make moves to accentuate Lavine’s game, not the defensive role players"
It's clear monk, lavine, demar don't fit. So add 3&D players around lavine/sabonis was the idea behind my thread. The resulting team above is what you'd want to put around lavine so he can focus on offense, and the team isn't allowing 60+% from 3 and layup drills by teams like NY and GS.
But I'm not sure you read more than one sentence before copy pasting your normal

I like neither at the cost of Washington. Dallas has been playing for weeks now with no bigs. Marshall is a great try hard guy and a guy who can get some inefficient offense for you when your better offensive players are gone and be kind of a goodish at everything, great at nothing role player when your team is healthy. But he's in no way a replacement for what PJ brings.
And AD is going to miss games(duh) and you are going to want to play him at center some of the time despite what he wants. So Washington still feels pretty essential. And Dallas has the pieces to go get a tertiary offensive option without having to give him up in the deal.
I wouldn't hate adding either Kings player, but only if a deal could be struck differently(and I totally get why the Kings wouldn't want to give them up not getting Washington back probably killing the idea.).

Re: 2 Kings trades with Dallas and Thunder
Would I be willing to give up Gafford + filler (Hardy/Powell) . I understand that the Kings don't need Gafford and would need a 3 team that values him and returns a forward... The Lakers for Hachimura or Vandervilt + SRP? .. I think Hachimura, who just turned 27, would fit quite well. He's not known for his defense, but he works hard and has a big, athletic body at 6'8 and 230 pounds. He's also shooting 3s at 41%. And in this trade, you'd be saving a few million in the short term and DDR's contract expiring... which would leave them with almost maximum cap space for next year, in addition to receiving some small assets...
Hachimura+SRP MAVS to KINGS
DDR to MAVS
Gafford/Hardy LAKERS
Powell+SRP(by Lakers)+SRP(by MAVS) 3 team
Hachimura+SRP MAVS to KINGS
DDR to MAVS
Gafford/Hardy LAKERS
Powell+SRP(by Lakers)+SRP(by MAVS) 3 team
Old Mike Lorenzo

Monk for Naji is tough salary wise.
JV + Monk + 2nds for Naji + Gafford + Powell
Gives Dallas more offense while waiting for Kyrie. Gives the Kings a backup center who plays defense and a forward next to LaRavia?
Other option could be Naji or Martin + Klay for Demar?

I think Naji for Monk needs a lot more value coming from Dallas. Happy to be wrong though.

Hoping the Kings tear it down to the studs, although I know that won't happen. So assuming LaVine/Sabonis are the "stars" of the team, Naji is a great fit next to Keegan imo. I personally like the DeMar version better, then I'd look at moving Monk for a point guard. Wonder how Orlando feels about Anthony Black + filler for Monk.
Not a pretty team but
Sabonis/JV
Naji/LaRavia
Keegan/Klay
LaVine/Keon
Black/Carter
As I always say, squint hard enough and you see a team that could make some sense.

Monk is cost controlled for longer than pj. Is dallas going to pony up for him in a year?

Re: 2 Kings trades with Dallas and Thunder
Thus whole Klay can't come off the bench thing is weird. He wasn't closing games when dallas was healthy without issue.
No idea what the limit is on Washington. But I don't know why they wouldn't effort to keep him if the number isn't outrageous.

Lakers 1st? But I'd keep.Gafford in this case.
I'm very down natutally on Mavs FO, but I hope they kepp PJ, very good moderm forward, these guys are tough to find.
Defense wins draft lotteries!

I’d definitely add the LAL 2029 first for Monk. Probably add a bit more than that.
Would not add that first for Demar.
Demar feels like he should cost expirings and a stack of seconds. Understanding, Dallas and LAL don’t have those seconds..
too early to make these kind of ideas (draft spots unknown, so value unknown) but you could have Dallas trade back a few spots with Brooklyn, OKC, SAS, Minn, etc to find that value?
IMO Dallas has to go into next season with only one of Lively or Gafford if you’re keeping PJ/AD.
Again jmo but you need AD playing center 15~ mpg in order to justify keeping/paying PJ moving forward.. and I’d like to keep Kyrie and PJ no matter what else happens with the roster (one year tank or not) .. But if the right offer is there for PJ, think Dallas should take it and shift to letting AD play full time PF.
