UTA-ORL-LAL: KCP, Sexton

UTA trades: Collin Sexton, 2027 LAL 1st (1-4 protected)
in: Maxi Kleber, Gabe Vincent, 2025 DEN 1st, 2027 pick swap (UTA receives highest two of UTA/LAL/CLE/MIN 1st, LAL receives 3rd highest, PHX receives the lowest)
Utah gets a 2025 1st. They also use the marginal value of KCP > Vincent + Kleber to change the LAL 1st from a 1-4 protected pick to an unprotected swap. Now, people may not love the value of that, but if Luka misses 30 games and LeBron is retired, there is always a chance of conveying a lottery pick so I prefer the upside of the swap. Remember that Dallas has been in the lottery with Luka on their team even if it doesn't materialize.

ORL trades: KCP, 2025 DEN 1st
in: Collin Sexton
Sexton is a great cultural fit for Orlando, and he is a great fit for their needs RE: scoring.

LAL trades: Maxi Kleber, Gabe Vincent, 2027 pick swap (UTA receives highest two of UTA/LAL/CLE/MIN 1st, LAL receives 3rd highest, PHX receives the lowest)
in: KCP, 2027 LAL 1st (1-4 protected)
Lakers get a perfect 2 next to Luka and LeBron at the cost of the upside of changing their 2027 1st to an unprotected swap - but this also guarantees that they will have a first round pick in 2027.

Didn't realize they owed the 2027 1st, that kills their part of the deal. I'll edit.

Magic should do this.
Lakers should try hard to replace Vincent with Vando+Knecht, but either way it's a good deal for them.

Knecht doesn't have much appeal to me, really bad fit for Utah who already has a very similar one-way player in Sensabaugh who is also a year and a half younger. I don't think this precludes turning that duo into something useful for them.
