Grizzlies/Kings/Nets Ja/Sabonis/Claxton +++

Sabonis/Monk to GRIZZLIES

Maybe I haven't seen enough, but Ja seems totally out of place in the Grizzlies' new system, or at least it doesn't play to his strengths. I think Sabonis would fit very well in that high-motion offense and would form probably the best frontcourt in the league alongside JJJ, who complement each other perfectly. Monk should also fit well as a dynamic point guard.
(There are reports that Ja didn't like the new offensive this year.)

Monk/Bane/Wells/JJJ/Sabonis
Pippen/Vince/Jackson /Aldama/Huff

Morant/Claxton to KINGS

Kings need to change things because it's not working for them.. they get a true PG that they lack and an elite defender at the 5 to compensate for all the offensive talent.

Ja/Ellis/Lavine/Murray/Claxton
Carter/DDR/LaRavia/Lyles/Valanciunas .

Clarke/Edey/Konchar+ FRP Grizzlies (lot pro) to NETS

They continue with their reconstruction.. they get a solid prospect and a future FRP

JJJ/Sabonis frontcourt is certainly intriguing...Certainly put butts in the seats for SAC, although I'd say they'll have other work to do...BRK says "Why not?"

Good one...Two West teams shaking things up and a rebuild team getting younger and, probably, better as Edey is more promising overall than Claxton, who is elite but in a limited role.

I know I'm ORL-centric, but someone like KCP next to Ja, post-OP, makes a lot of sense (like Bame). Tough, long, defensively elite, hits 3's aggressively. Maybe that's who Ellis already is becoming - but younger and less costly.

Cut out Brooklyn and easy yes from sac.

I have edey worth more than claxton, and memhis overpaying.

Morant + filler for sabonis/monk is fine for me. If we can get edey even better. Ship out derozan next, and beg someone to take lavine. I'll build around Ja, keon, Murray, edey happily

For the record, memphis is better after the trade. Sabonis fits perfectly with JJJ and the team plays better in a free flowing offense rather than build around JA. But most teams don't trade a 25 year old star who didn't ask out. Even if Jas name is bigger than his impact the last 2-3 years

Exactly who Keon is. And when keon starts the team has actually very impressive record. Problem is we are stuck with 3 score first guards and team decided with 8 games left it was finally time to change it up.

Don’t think Brooklyn is really needed. If Memphis does Eddy/Ja for Sabonis/Monk.. Sac should just do that. Figure out how to turn Demar (or LaVine) and picks into a defense..

No interest from Memphis. Sabonis is not a piece the Grizzlies is missing or wish to build around. Also, should we want to trade Ja, we will find a better deal.

Sabonis/JJJ is the best front court in the league. The drop from Ja to Monk is a thing but it’s doesn’t eclipse the value of that front court.

This is a move that could make sense.

A better offer? What better all-star than Sabonis could Ja get? Morant's production/availability has clearly been trending downward over the last two seasons, and I don't think his playing style will age well.

We got rid of Fox (Morant) - inefficient/non spacing/ non plus defender out of fit....

Fit? It’d be a totally different type of team.

Sabonis/Monk/2nd for Ja/Eddy/Clarke

Everybody moves on.

Fox and Morant are the same replica...

Edey isn't coming to the Kings here..

why would they trade Domas who has been responsible for the team's success for a Fox replica.. they would have tried to keep De'aaron

I thought Fox's departure was the player's decision, not something the Kings were looking for.

Why couldn’t Eddy be moved to Sac?

Fit with the team Fox was on is of zero matter. It’d be a totally different type of team. That argument makes no sense.

Sabonis is a great player, but he is not a clutcher. Ja is. Sabs is not a 1st star in a team. Ja is. That’s the difference between them. Sabs is a facilitator, 3d or 4th option, Ja is the 1st and primary. Again, Sabonis is a very good player, a star.

As a Grizz fan have absolutely no interest in trading Ja and equally have no interest in trading for Sabonis. Monk is a 6th man.

Ja isnt good, he's just a name which you seem to like (Zion)

Hes inefficient, doesn't spread the floor or play d and has sub standard impact stats

I would accept for Brooklyn.

Saw a report last night from Amick that Ja is the name to watch. Rumbles he wants out.

Similar path to Fox. Coach got fired mid-year, reports that it was Ja who wanted him gone (may or may not be true), team is falling in the standings, Ja is busy tweeting.
