Blowing up the Kings!

Lets hope the kings decide to actually embrace a rebuild. In this scenario let's say the kings plan to keep keon, Keegan, Carter. Young guys probably worth more keeping around than trading.
Make offers for anyone else
Sabonis
JV
Monk
Derozan
Lavine (lol)
What do these bums fetch on the open market.

Sabonis for Charlotte's pick (if it's #3 or worse). throw in additional low value assets as you see fit. Charlotte can match salaries with a combo of Nurkic, Josh Green, Grant Williams, Okogie, etc

Monk interest Orlando. Cole Anthony, Jett Howard and our second for Monk should do it.

Id not be interested in this. Rather let monk be the tank commander next year. Anthony is bad money, Jett is nothing, and a 2nd does nothing for me.

Id be totally fine with this. And I love him in Charlotte. Would love to sneak mark williams in the matching salary so kings could get a free look at him during a tank year.
A healthy season from ball - miller - bridges - sabonis should lead to a playoff appearance.

So glad the Bulls got to move Lavine, and we've played better recently with Huerter/Collins/Jones (hurt now)
Plus, a good chance we pick #11, so getting our pick back helped
I agree-it might be time to blow it up-what is their pick situation like?

I think the Charlotte deal for something like #3 and filler contracts works for Sabonis. Nurkic/Williams/Green.
Lavine is going nowhere. No one will want him without the Kings paying so just wait the next season out until he is an expiring. He will at least keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Deebo is a tough one. I just don't know who will want him at $24.5m. And even if his deal isn't GTD in the final year, it's still a substantial amount I think. Would the TWolves go for less salary if Randle opts in? Doubtful I know. I wonder if Brooklyn don't get anyone with the cap space they entertain the idea of bringing him in for a team lacking scoring?
Monk is someone that I think a team can fall in love with as a playmaking 6th man or backup starter. A late 1st in this draft would be optimal. The Nuggets pick from the Magic would be my guess, but would prefer a lottery protected future 1st from someone.

I don't know that anyone other than Sabonis has much value on that list.

Sabonis for Ace is something Sac should consider.
Use Monk and/or the Spurs pick to get into the teens and take Saraf to add a playmaker.
Ace/Saraf/Keegan/Ellis/Carter and build from there.

This isn't very close. I'm not sure if Howard/Anthony are even positive value. I don't see a team valuing that salary as positive.

I'm dishing Deebo to the Lakers for Rui/Kleber/'25 2nd.
Deebo can take his toe on the line jumpers to the Lakers bench to be a super 6th man.
If the Kings did that along with the Charlotte deal it would give them more than $55m in expiring contract to play with at next seasons deadline.

i would not send Mark for anything "reasonable". simply too good when healthy. even with sabonis in the picture, i'd view Mark as the center of the future if he can prove he can stay on the floor for any real length of time.
I'd have Mark soaking up all the minutes Sabonis doesn't play, and stick the two of them together for some minutes to overwhelm other teams inside. i would never be worried about spacing with Melo and Miller firing the way they do from 3.

If Sac can convert Sabonis into Sharpe/Ayton I think they should consider it.
Also, Sac should be trying to keep their 12 pick.

This was my favorite deal prior to the mavs gifting LA luka. Now between reaves, luka, lebron i highly highly doubt LA would have any interest in him.

I'm not sure they can do much more than they already are. They can't even beat the wizards lol. Looks like 1 more win this season if that. It's sad that phx is equally trash. Hopefully Miami or Chicago can pass us up

I say yes to these on the surface. Maybe a little haggling but that's ok.
The resulting team with the assets the Kings would have is in a better situation for the future than they are right now.

Sure, if by "it" you mean making the Kings laugh and hang up.
