Kispert+Bey combo

If the Wizards offered Kispert+Bey as a trade combo package, what is the best offer they could get?
Kispert is signed for 3 years at $13-14mn and Bey has 2 more years at $6mn/year. So it is a combined $19-20mn/year package.
Naturally, the Wizards would be willing to accept bad salary in return for future draft compensation.
Both players offer solid 3 pt shooting and could make sense for a team in need of shooting and depth at the 2-4 positions. Would Orlando be interested? Any other takers? Maybe Chicago?

Jerami Grant.
You’re welcome.

This is probably the wrong direction, but would be interested in either and/or both of these guys as part of a Kuminga S&T if we can't agree to terms on a new deal.

The package itself has probably neutral value, maybe negative for some. If you're expecting assets in return, they'll come from the money you take, not these players. So the more fitting question would be about what's the mosts assets you could get for taking 20 million worth of bad money.

Bey haven't played a game all year and Kispert have been trending the wrong way since his promising 2nd year. Dont think they have any value tbh

Could CHA absorb the $20mn for the combo without sending additional salary? Josh Green is on $13.6mn next season, so CHA would need to absorb about $6 mn.
This deal may work...Believe it or not the Wiz have now too many players signed for next year and a 2 for 1 deal would open minutes for the younger players.

Would like one or the other, not both in ORL...too much salary tied up in redundant limited players.
Poole and Kispert would make a nice pair for ORL...but don't expect too much for them.

Def down to pair Kispert back up with Deni in Portland. I liked that tandem in WAS

How about Kispert+Bey+PHO 2nd (#40 currently) for KCP + DEN 1st (#20 currently)? KCP has 2 more years at $22mn each.

I think both are negative value as individuals and no team should want both of them further dragging down the value of that package.
Might as well ride them out with the tank unless some team is willing to take them off your hands for cheap cheap.

Assuming Bey has regained his old form after knee surgery (which is not unlikely for youngish players these days), I think he has positive value at just $7M a year. That guy is a real rotation player.

I don’t think his old form was terribly good or valuable. I think he gets a lot of bonus value because he put up 51 and people think that’s him, but he’s inefficient at scoring, and he loses all defensive focus to focus on getting buckets, so he’s not even a help there. He's a flyer at best. If he succeeds, and is at perfect health, he might be worth a little more than his contract, imo? But in all likelihood, he’s a tank commander that isn't worth his salary.

Still no…to me, that’s two lesser guys and a lesser pick. I don’t think either one gets you even a later frp

well we wouldn't know if (and a big if) thats the case until he's playing again and until then no one is paying real value for him

You’re welcome.
We'll do it if we get the right answer to this question: What 1sts are headed to Washington? (I am assuming negative value for Grant and roughly 2nd round value each for the two Wizard wings).

None.
Kris Murray if you want him.

IDK man. He was a promising rookie but then just never developed beyond a guy who wants to take shots and do not much of anything else. There is a reason he's on that contract. If he was worth more pre-injury some team would have given it to him. So he wasn't. Certainly not worth it now.
But then the OP asks a team to take two guys like this when you should only have one in a rotation, suddenly contracts that are somewhat overpaid become even more so and tie up a roster spot.
Would be better for the OP to try and dump them apart. I wouldn't even try on Bey who they'd definitely have to pay to dump at this point. I'd at least see if a team wanted to turn a meh expiring in Kispert. But I suspect it would cost something and Washington shouldn't be paying to dump salary.

I agree that it doesn’t make much sense to combine these two players.

Kispert/Bey for P.Williams/J.Carter + 2/3 SRP
The Wizards get the player with the highest ceiling and most valuable archetype and the Bulls get rid of a guy who obviously doesn't work for them and needs a fresh start, converting him into more mobile contracts.
