Not sure he was just a figure head for Vivek and his daughter, hope he made enough money because his reputation got a big hit.

From long distance he made two mistakes.

S&T for Demar DeRozan. At that point the had Sabonis, Monk, Fox, Carter, Fultz. He really should have seen that in 3 years with the Bulls DeRozan wasn't stretching the floor until year 3 and then only when he was really hot. And when he set up shop in his mid range spot he was going to shoot it.Maybe they tried to send more smaller assets directly to the Bulls but they maybe should have tried to clean up their rotation better.

He compounded that by working the Bulls into the Fox trade. DeRozan and Lavine didn't play together on the Bulls just at the same time. They almost alternated who was going to dominate the scoring in games and the other guys just hung out. Once the Bulls moved Lavine and got Kevin Huerter, Zach Collins and Tre Jones they finished the season 15-5, still 4 games under .500. It was a dramatic shift in style and results. Plus the Bulls got their 2025 pick back from SAS when nobody thought they could get anything back for Lavine for a year and a half.

Now there's going to be new people running the show, maybe because Monte didn't want to admit and try to correct his two former Bulls mistakes.

Who would want the Kings job, to have Vivek overrule your planning and make you draft Nik Stauskus and then make you chant his name like you are in a hostage video. lol ... Kings job is the worst GM job in the entire NBA imo
