---------------------------------------
CHA Gets: Daniel Gafford
CHA Gives: Grant Williams
Why for CHA? The Hornets add a starting level C who is still relatively young (26) who can help elevate their defense (24th this year). He’s also an excellent lob threat which someone like Ball can take advantage of time after time. I’m also assuming things are still sour with Mark Williams after the rescinded trade and that CHA would be looking to move him in another deal.
PG - Ball / Mann / Simpson
SG - Green / Smith
SF - Miller / Okogie / Jeffries
PF - Bridges / Salaun / Diabate
C - Gafford / Williams / Nurkic
---------------------------------------
DAL Gets: DeMar DeRozan
DAL Gives: Daniel Gafford & Naji Marshall
Why for DAL? The Mavs add another legit go-to scorer on the wing to go along with Irving and Davis. They’d still have a ton of size, length, and defense in the starting lineup with a frontcourt of Washington, Davis, & Lively, but then they’d have the luxury of DeRozan leading the bench unit and providing steady offense for when Irving and/or Davis rest.
PG - Irving / Williams
SG - Thompson / Christie / Hardy
SF - Washington / DeRozan / Martin
PF - Davis / Prosper
C - Lively / Powell
---------------------------------------
SAC Gets: Grant Williams & Naji Marshall
SAC Gives: DeMar DeRozan
Why for Kings? The LaVine, DeRozan, and Sabonis combo doesn’t appear to be working and it just lacks defense and size in general. The Kings reset and move on from DeRozan while adding a couple of rotational forwards that have length, can play defense, and can knock down a 3 at a decent clip.
PG - Ellis / Monk
SG - LaVine / Carter / Davis
SF - Williams
PF - Murray / Marshall
C - Sabonis / Valanciunas / Jones

I’d do it with Martin in place of Naji for Dallas? Probably need to send Powell out as well.
Grant Williams leg looked really bad. And I don’t think he was worth Gafford before that.

Lively/AD are already interior defenders, JV brings something different for them. --- JV + DeRozan for Martin, Naji, Gafford.
That said, I think Naji became more important than PJ to Dallas. The alternative if Naji > Washington in Dallas eyes -- Gafford, PJ, Hardy for Derozan, Jonas
Kyrie/Exum - Klay - PJ - AD - Lively
Williams - Chrsitie - Derozan - Prosper - JV
or
Kyrie/Exum - DeRozan - Klay - AD - Lively
Williams - Christie - Martin - Naji - JV
But realistically Id accept Gafford, Martin, Hardy, Powell + 2nds for DeRozan, Jonas. Which is really where I expect DeRozans value to be.

Ya including Charlotte here doesn't make sense. I'd rather Kings keep Gafford and move JV. We need a backup defensive center anyways. We can't have zero rim defense always its so hard to watch.

Charlotte owes value. They have some early 2nd(s) they can throw in

I've got the difference between giving up Gafford + taking on an extra year of bad Williams money as worth more than a few 2nds in this new NBA economy. Nobody has cap space, it costs to dump salary, let alone get a good player coming back.

I think these are fair overall. Just don’t know if Dallas is bringing in those two defenders.

Comfortably saying yes for Charlotte, #34 or #35 would definitely be on the table for this, presumably going to Sacramento. Follow-up moving involving Nurkic for a wing or guard anyone?
