CHI adds a solid, starter-level C, to be a very strong backup to Vuc or replace him if he's traded. Lonzo, Coby, and Giddey provide plenty of playmaking and they will likely be in position to draft an higher upside on-ball prospect like Jase Richardson or even Fears or Jakucionis - depending on slot.

ORL bets on Ayo as a 2-way PG next to Suggs, to better balance the backcourt. Ideally, he's playing big minutes off the bench if ORL moves for a higher-level Lead Guard, but either way, Ayo would have an opportunity to spread his offensive wings in ORL, next to guys like Suggs, KCP, and Black. It leaves ORL thin at C, but I'm hoping they address that with an inexpensive banger found elsewhere (at least until Moe Wagner is back).

Think Chicago prefer to take whatever pick Ayo is worth. Vuc still there with minimal trade value, Jalen, and even Collins finished the season healthy..

Don’t really disagree that the value is fair, and you could probably make it a three team trade

The Bulls don't need Goga as a backup to Vucevic they have Zach Collins expiring, Jalen Smith played less post deadline trade but signed for a low cost and played plenty before. If they did this after moving Vuc I'd say Zach Collins started with aims to resign him for less with Smith ahead of Goga as the backup. They have to think they can get more for Ayo.

No idea what to make of Goga. We've had two fanbases swear by the guy. So its obvious he's showing things. But then we've seen him being totally left out of playoff rotations. So its clear his coaches have seen him as a guy who can eat some RS minutes in a center rotation, but that he's not the answer.

So I wouldn't trade a playoff rotation guard for him. I think Chicago declines this pretty quickly.

why does orlando want ayo? they want even less spacing next to wagner/banchero?

Wow...hated by both sides...that usually means it's a good one and/or igorance of other rosters (possibly by me).

ORL jerks...isn't Ayo a playmaker? Haven't we somewhat established that we don't have one but also that we don't really need a pure PG next to our core? Ayo's not a sniper, but he's above league avg 3pt% - enough to keep defenses honest and this would, potentially be a bigger offensive role. I don't see him as the ultimate solution to our backcourt, but a solid young 2-way player.

CHI jerks...You really counting on Zach Collins for depth just because he's upright at the moment. Goga is a great teammate and solid defender as well as underrated passer inside. He finishes strong on dropoffs, etc. If ORL had a stronger offensive backcourt, he'd look even better but he's just in the way with Paolo & Franz crowding inside. Giddey will make him look like James Worthy, finishing off of behind the back passes. I think he fits really well with the younger core and, perhaps, you finally get to move Vuc to GSW or LAL, etc and don't have to be constantly reminded of the deal.

No way in hell ORL moves him for any srps...I know it's fun to convert players into draft currency to plug into your spreadsheet, but Goga is a very solid rotation player that could contribute to any team. It's not a dump, it's (what I thought was) need for need.

It's fair not to want to trade a player for picks, but when you get value back it isn't a dump and, if he were to be moved, I don't see how you can argue for much more for a 2nd/3rd center averaging less than 15 MPG through 6 seasons in the league. Center is also a fairly deep position, you might get a similar 8th/9th rotational piece, maybe. Fine preferring that route.

Orlando has needs and Goga has value. Playoff teams don't usually get worse for second round picks. They're much better off using Goga in a trade that brings back even a legaue average PG. Now if the the team with the league average PG wants picks, that's an opportunity for the Spurs to insert themselves.

Fair enough, I see picks as currency and there's sort of a logjam once big brother comes back. But maybe it's Moritz Wagner they move. But I think they do something sooner rather than later.

How Goga's value compares with Ayo's is really all I care about here...I'm not really following where you're headed
