My try at a Markkanen trade to Minny with Detroit

Assumes Randle opts in(maybe with a buyout agreement in place with Utah?) by the draft to make this work. Big assumption I know. I don't think its a deal breaker if he doesn't opt in until after the draft. Utah would prefer to pick their own guy, but whomever Minny takes will have value and Detroit can replace #35 with another 2nd or two.

Detroit trades: #35/27 MIL 2nd/29 MIL 2nd/30 MIN 2nd returned
Detroit gets: DDV

Minny trades: Randle/Conley/DDV/#17/32 1st(top 1, becomes 32 2nd)
Minny gets: Markkanen/#35/27 MIL 2nd/29 MIL 2nd/30 MIN 2nd returned

Utah trades: Markkanen
Utah gets: Randle/Conley/#17, 32 1st(top 1)

Utah gets two firsts including a high variance one while getting back no bad money and Conley can retire a Jazz/mentor for a year. Randle a buyout or a build his value and hope to get some 2nds out of him at the deadline guy.

Minny is in on KD, but maybe he's not in on them. So go get KD lite, but who can be in his prime in this Edwards/McDaniels window. I know they promised not to trade Conley, but Utah might be a spot he'd be cool going back to. Also make some room under the aprons.

Detroit spends 4 2nds and some cap space to upgrade THJ's spot in the rotation.

Well dang. Not sure why I had that as a swap?
