Sacramento - Dallas - GSW

Sacramento trade: Derozan
Sacramento receive: Kuminga (S&T), GSW filler(s), Martin (into TPE)

Dallas trade: Martin, Gafford
Dallas receive: Derozan

GSW trade: Kuminga (S&T), min filler if needed (santos? TJD?)
GSW receive: Gafford

Why for Sacramento: add a PF with upside for Derozan and another forward for depth
Why for Dallas: add some offense with kyrie out
Why for GSW: add C depth

As usual add 2nds if needed

I love the direction/fit, but I have questions regarding the logistics. Can GS execute a S&T this summer? What is Kuminga agreeing to sign for here?

GSW can send away a S&T as long as they stay under 2nd apron which should be doable. Kuminga right now i have ear marked for 25-30M year 1, hence min filler as needed (count as 50% matching due to BYC). I left out specifics though since i have no idea what his market value is as well

in before Jay says if GSW is doing Kuminga for Gafford, he wants to just do that. :D

Also DeRozan for Gafford/Martin has just been defaulted into this board. I think I've seen in included in a half dozen or more trades just this week?

kuminga seems like a bad fit now that you have AD and PJ taking all the PF minutes presumably. but yes they can do that too if they dont mind being hardcapped

for derozan vs gafford martin i think dallas is owed a 2nd or 2 but i like the fit for both sides. In OP's case if it was up to me GSW should be paying dallas the 2nd(s)

If Dallas could/should send some SRP I'm fine with that..but Dallas keeps Martin and sends Powell/Hardy instead

Yeah this would be a good result for GS if we are moving on from Kuminga in a sign and trade type deal.

When I put it in the Kuminga thread, there was a decent amount of responses saying that GSW would love that..

Seems like you could build out Gafford, PJ, Martin for Monk and Kuminga.. has to be a lot more thrown in to make the deal legal... But at least they’d make one fan relatively happy..?

As for the OP - I don’t love trading for Demar. 36 year old, not great fit. The upside is just having a mediocre offense versus a bad one. Think Dallas needs to do more than that, or at least take a risk that might work out to be more than that.. But I understand the idea.

And I like it for the other two teams. Sac doesn’t care about defense, so get younger and hope for greener grass. GSW probably has moved on from Kuminga, so fill a need.
