Charlotte receive: Derozan

Utah trade: Collins
Utah receive: Okogie, JV, 33

Why for Sacramento: add a starting PF for roster balance
Why for Charlotte: add a veteran floor raiser for a team hoping to exit the cellar
Why for Utah: keep the tank rolling

I'd rather have Collins for 33 and expirings personally.

Fair enough, i liked derozans influence on culture and leadership more and i think hornets have more of a hole at SG, but nurkic/okogie/33 for collins would work too. Im not sure if Collins would be ok with coming off the bench in a walk year though

This is a steal for Charlotte. We need some respectable vets who can still play.

It's fine. If we can get a few future 2nds instead ir is probably better. This leaves us with 5 picks in the draft, but I would do it.

Easy yes for sac. Need some size on this team even if Collins doesn't play defense. And we should be looking for a backup c who can play defense not jval

I'd do this from Charlotte's side. Derozan not the best fit, but this team is desperately in need of veterans on this roster. Collins would be interesting and fit better, but having him and Miles Bridges on the same roster poses problems. I know Collins is also known to be low effort depending on the day.

Maybe the one on the move is Lavine... I read that a couple of years ago the new Kings GM, speaking on a podcast, questioned Zach's impact on the win...

If that deal is available I'd take this and figure out Derozan next. Think there are more homes for DeRozan.
