CWhite Deals-thoughts? (Char, Minny, Dal, Atl, Det)

I posted CWhite to Orl 8 times now-I think the final version that's fair is CWhite/Carter for CAnthony/Howard/#16
But, I think there are other options.
To Minny for Conley, Shannon and the #17
To Char with the #12 for the #4 pick (I like VJ a lot for the Bulls)
To Dallas for the #11 (not sure on the Dallas salaries)
To ATL for Niang and the #13
To Det for Ivey (not sure I like this one)
Any others? Thoughts on these
I want Chi to take a step back next year, and focus on Giddey/Matas as our future core. I like Coby a lot, but I don't like having him and Giddey together for defensive purposes

Coby White and #12 shouldn't get you up to #4.

Honestly think Conley only gets traded if he plans on retiring? Don’t think he’s there yet.
But built into a Randle (or whoever) deal I like the idea of Coby in Minnesota as a cheap upgrade for a year that might/could fit really well with their group.
Dallas.. I think they need to go get a player like Coby. But his contract and realistic inability to extend make me really hesitant to give up a decent asset like that? Assume the matching would be Martin and Hardy personally. But could be a number of other variations.. probably should be a yes from Dallas but think I’d prefer to give up the LAL pick over 11 personally? Try to put like top 6 protection on the LAL and have it roll over to the Dallas first.
The Charlotte one feels like a lot more value than the other ideas.

Houston trades down with OKC to 15 and sends Jalen+Cam Whitmore+15 for white and filler.

The Wolves likely pass. Conley isn't getting moved and I think Minnesota will need cheap rotation options going forward. I really like Shannon and I can see #17 turning into a good rotation player. While White would be an interesting addtion, having to pay him after next season probably rules him out.

I think Minnesota runs it back. Knowing how well year two of Rudy went. It only makes sense that TC/Finch believe year two of Randle will also go well. But that being said, the Timberwolves can't bring back both Conley and NAW. My guess is they move off of Conley, who fits into a non-taxpayer exception. I don't think Minnesota Mike comes back.

If you don't like the defensive dynamic between Coby & Giddey, but you don't want to wait forever to compete (now that, I assume, Giddey gets PAID)...
ORL sends: KCP, Goga
CHI sends: Coby, P. Williams
CHI gets a good look at a young, suitable Vuc replacement on a solid team-friendly deal and gets off P. Williams' remaining 4 years. KCP is a rock-solid defender, a tough, physical vet to put next to Giddey in a long, balanced backcourt. His career 3pt shooting took a dip this year, but he's clearly capable. I'm presuming CHI will be looking to move Vuc's expiring this summer too.
ORL takes a big financial risk by taking in Williams' deal...he's done very little to earn it, but maybe something clicks...if not, ORL is stuck with him as well as Coby's upcoming extension (along with their already bloated payroll). IF Williams "gets it" he becomes a centra piece off the bench with multi-position versatility, good size and 3pt shooting. I think the financials (including CHI's challenges to retain Coby, if they wanted to) mean no picks attached.
*Depending on where CHI lands ( #12? ), ORL could also offer #25 & #16 for #12, if CHI preferred two bites at the apple.

I don't get these values. If you are setting that Orlando deal as the standard, why is Charlotte badly overpaying? Why is Dallas overpaying? Why is Atlanta overpaying?

Don't think Orlando should take on the bad contract of Williams, they have plenty of assets, just use one. Don't think Chicago should take the asset they could get and use it to dump Williams when they are going to be bad anyway. Dump him when you are ready to be good.
Seems wrong both ways, no?

I know the Magic are taking a bad contract in Patrick Williams, but this is simply not good value for Coby White and it's not like KCP is on a good contract neither. The Magic would need a decent bit more just for Bulls to consider this.

Coby trades are a waste of time IMO. Bulls reporters said 7 teams called about Coby at the deadline.
AK will only trade him if he gets a massive overpay.
AK is awful. He wants to win not build a winner. He won’t take a small step back to build a winner. Coby will be resigned.

1st trade is fine. The Timberwolves likely need to include Rob Dillingham and/or include DDV(reroute him to a 3rd team for draft capital), but I could see it, especially if the Timberwolves lose in the 2nd round to the Warriors/Rockets.
2nd trade is exactly what the Bulls would look if they trade Coby White. Turning Coby White and 12th into a top 5 pick in a strong draft class could very beneficial for the Bulls long term if they select the right guy. Should Hornets do this? Probably not since they appear to be years away from even contending for the playoffs.
3rd trade. Maybe, but I say the Mavericks need to add a little bit more.
4th trade: The Hawks for sure need to add more valuewise, but I don't think they should be trading for him at all. Coby White/Dyson Daniels/Trae Young would a crowded backcourt and someone would have to come off of the bench,so the fit simply wouldn't work.
5th trade: Pistons for sure need to add more. Jaden Ivery only played 30 games this year, while Coby White is coming off of having a career year.

Maybe not, but I figure Char might want to make the playoffs, and (in theory) Ball/White/Miller/Bridges/Williams gets you there, with an ok bench
Plus, White is a local legend. Best Bulls could do is throw in the Port pick

I can see Char being "overpaying" but how ATL or Dallas? Giving up the #11/#13 and matching salary vs. the #16 and Howard seems pretty equal to me

I figure there are 96 backcourt minutes, and Daniels can easily back up the 3 too. Should be enough minutes.

Howard has no value. So having to give up 11 or 13 instead of 16 is overpaying. Now with Dallas, you let them match with Hardy/Powell/Prosper or Hardy/Martin and that helps a little bit, but its still an overpay if 16 is his value.

Most of these have issues. I believe Minny has an understanding to keep Conley. They also need pg-run the offense playmaking not combo guard scoring.
White shouldn't be relevant in a deal for a top-4 pick.
Atlanta has Young and Daniels. Not sure they consider #13 for a 3rd guard.
Detroit wants to keep Ivey in the role you have White filling (and he'll be RFA in a year, not UFA).
Dallas maybe. He does seem like a good fit for what they need. #11 feels a big high though.

I don't see MINN giving up in essence 2 FRP's, last year and this year for an expiring White. If he resigns it's a decent deal but they would have Conley's cap space to bid on him anyway.
Conley for a year, when does he play? Giddey and Ball at the PG, I'd still like too resign Tre Jones who's 12 years younger than Conley. Shannon might have potential beyond 32 games and 10 minutes per but are you seeing him ahead of even Terry?
Again CHA has to see him resigning to make up for dropping 8 spots. The Bulls would really have to like someone at #4 in what everybody thinks is a 3 man draft
DAL would really have to see him next to Kyrie, they have Klay signed for a few years for less than they'd have to pay Coby
The Bulls still don't have floor time for 2 rookies, I just don't get how people who adore picks don't see that
If ATL is willing to give up #13 even they don't think much of Niang,
To DET for Ivey I do because he plays a year and he's a RFA giving the Bulls control over him and more time to see how everybody on the roster is fitting together. Giddey, Lvey, Ball and maybe they keep Dosunmu

I don’t think he has that kind of value honestly. He is a very good offensive player very bad defender.
On an expiring deal and probably will want demand more than he is worth as a FA.
You said you wanted to take a step back and focus on Giddey/Matas. I think to get quality young players or picks back for White you need to take on a bunch of Salary as well.

New Idea-Utah wins the lottery and wants to win now. Flagg/Lauri/Kessler is a VERY nice looking starting lineup
#19 plus some of their young guys? Utah would need a shooter like Coby, and they'd have plenty of 2026 cap flexibility.
Henricks, Williams, George-two of them?
Lots of options for the salary coming back, but Utah could easily be a Playin team with Flagg landing there, and adding a steady young vet like Coby
