DAL in: DeRozan, Sexton, Ellis, 2 2nds (via SAC).
DAL out: Washington, Thompson, Martin, Hardy, #11.

Why? Get two offensive players and a POA 3nD defender to plug in their system.

(Irving)/Sexton/Williams
Ellis/Christie
DeRozan/Marshall
Davis/Prosper
Lively/Gafford

LAL in: Thompson
LAL out: Kleber, Knecht

Why? Get a reliable playoff performer without gibing up many assets, still enough to go get a starting center (Vincent/Vando/pick/swaps).

Doncic/Goodwin
Thompson/Reaves
James/MLE (Amir Coffey?)
Hachimura/Finney-Smith
Center/Hayes

SAC in: Washington, Martin, Hardy, #21
SAC out: DeRozan, Ellis, 2 2nds.

Why? Balance out their roster and get a draft prospect for two starters.

MLE (Tyus Jones?)/Carter
Lavine/Monk
Murray/Martin
Washington/#21 (Lendeborg?)
Sabonis/Valanciunas

UTA in: Kleber, Knecht, #11
UTA out: Sexton, #21

Why? Get another lottery pick to pair with their one and shoot for potential, while also getting Knecht to add to their young roster.

George/Collier
Clarkson/Williams
Markkanen/Knecht
Collins/Hendricks
Kessler/Filipowski

Add to that #1-5 + #11 and it's an interesting up and coming team.

Think Knecht shuold be replaced w/ Vincent and 2nd(s)

Seems too good for Sacramento

Mavs have no buisness adding a 1st to this deal
Too good for UTA -- Klever/Knect is enough for Sexton, maybe add a 2nd rd pick
Too good for SAC -- I have PJ as the best player in the deal
LAL have way more pressing needs that a shooter, I don't see them doing this, they'll invest their matching salaries on centers and 3&D guard

This feels really easy to take Sac out right?

I don’t think I would consider trading PJ/Martin/21 for Demar/Ellis?

Wouldn’t do the OP. Probably would do the deal without Sac involvement.

Sacramento doesn't need to be in this deal, Ellis is being way undervalued here

Sacramento shouldn't be interested in this. I don't love it for Utah, but I don't necessarily hate it either.

We dont want Knecht, but I agree it is too good. Replace him with Vincent on Utaj's end. Maybe send him to Dallas to help balance.

The problem with Ellis is his contract. He has definite value but the last thing a team like the Kings want to do right now is overpay for a player like him. He's a role playing spot shooter that relies on playing passing lanes and getting deflections as his main method of defense. That style of defense is going the way of the dinosaur. Ellis has to be next to an elite point of attack defender that doesn't get beat as often, can defend through contact, and get over pick and roll screens.
