Allen is not a PG. We have tons of SGs already. Value is probably fair for us but it makes us a worse team

I think they will choose one in the Draft (I forgot to mention) I thought that with RJ (with 5.4 Assists) Barnes (5.8) and Ingram (5.2) they had enough, game creation and they don't need a pure base (they also get Lonzo here)

Great reset for Phoenix. Get out of Beal and get a starting-caliber PG and Center. Really couldn't ask for more in a Beal trade.

I don't think a 2nd round pick prospect and the last pick in the 1st round is getting paid to acquire Beal.

This is really bad for Toronto. They trade their one true PG on the roster for another low-end starting SG to join the ranks of Dick/Agbaji/RJ.

Can you explain how Agbaji is a back-up 4 when he is 6' 5" and primarily a 2 guard in rotation?

No the Bulls aren't so desperate to get rid of a couple of years of Patrick Williams that they take on $103M, he's picking up that $57M option, of Beal who ends up doing just what Lavine did, take the ball away from Giddey, making sure he gets his shots in hopes of signing another contract. If that's not bad enough after this you see them with Carter and Terry still around in rotation minutes when they should be gone, Williams for all the hating throw on him over time has been more productive.

I can't imagine how anyone in Phoenix is happy that they end up starting 2 former Bulls who they supposedly wanted to clear out.

Not even that good if they get a lottery pick because 2 rookies will struggle to develop.

Agree. Money is also a problem

IQ makes $32.5M. Lonzo ($21.4M), Allen ($15.5M) and RIchards ($5M) add up to $42M -- and that would put TOR well inot the tax

I can see TOR moving IQ if they end up drafting a PG with a high lotto pick and they think Shead is ready. But if that's the case, they'll want 2 things: (1) front court help and (2) financial relief. The OP provides minimal front court help -- I think Richards is close to unplayable, and definitely doesn't fit the style that Coach Darko wants -- and is financially a no-go because it puts TOR over the tax line for a team whose ceiling is a first round exit.

So $2M in financial relief next year -- something, but not enough. As you said, the trade makes TOR worse now without adding anything enticing

IQ is one of my favorite guys in the league but they seem to have a very set roster for next season. I don’t see them making any moves of this size.

From Suns perspective giving up Dunn is tough but getting off of Beal and getting back IQ would probably be worth it. Would still try to offer future pick or something but hard to pass up this deal.
