DEN in: C. Kispert, M. Smart, I. Okoro
DEN out: M. Porter jr, D. Saric, H. Tyson, J. Pickett

WAS in: M. Porter jr., D. Saric, MIL 2025 2nd, DEN 2027 2nd
WAS out: M. Smart, C. Kispert

CLE in: J. Pickett, H. Tyson
CLE out: Okoro, MIL 2025 2nd, DEN 2027 2nd

Denvers adds depth - Smart offers defense and playmaking, can hit a shot; Kispert goves them scoring off the bench, not as good as Porter overall, but can replicate some of his scoring while being more reliable health wise; while Okoro gives them defence and athleticism and hopefully can improve as a shooter along Jokic.

Wizards add higher ceiling player who fits them, and take some minor salary for 2nds. Even if Porter doesn't work out, his last year is unguaranteed.

Cleveland is ditching salary and getting two young players who can potentially contribute, but also not guaranteed long term

I disagree Denver adds depth. Smart if healthy can play playoff minutes, but probably less than Porter. Okoro shouldn't and I can't imagine Kispert being more than a bit player.

I can see your point, as Porter at his best probably gives you better minutes than those three, althought he is somewhat inconsistent and injury prone (to be clear, so are those guys to varying degrees), but I think combination of them could give you some 10 mins more.
Kispert should look better on a better and more structured team. Okoro is a wildcard, but they are taking a shot hoping that he could be something like Bruce Brown, even if to a slightly lesser degree?

Also, part of it is just having more players who can pick up some load during the regular season too, reducing the wear and tear on the rest of the team.
