OKC/Sac

Let's say OKC goes out this round, and they want an upgrade
Sac wants to restock their team (another deal for them-DDR to Miami for Rozier/#20)
Hart/Dieng/Topic/#16, plus one future pick (not sure which) for Sabonis
Sac gets young depth and a solid starting center.
OKC gets an All Star center to help SGA with the scoring load. Sabonis/Chet is an awesome frontcourt.
Probably too expensive for OKC, but I think it makes them better

I think its not enough value for the Kings. Unless they just love Topic.
But for OKC its likely a rental. And on paper anyway not the best fit. I do like the idea of them adding an offensive player better than current JWill, but other than not making his 3's, he's been having a better playoffs this year so they may not?

chet is at his best protecting the paint. so, if they want to upgrade on hartenstein comitting to chet, it would be best to upgrade to someone that with flexibility to guard the perimeter, and obviously play man defense on fat big mrn and keep the rebounding stable
not too many players give a direct upgrade to what hartenstein gives the thunder, but i'd say sabonis isn't one of them
i don't like sabonis fit at all in okc and their no weak link on d rotation

This is an absolute joke. No way the kings consider this insulting offer.

Is it too much to ask for wallace or Wiggins in place of dieng?
Kings fans will hate it, but I think this is the right first step. Grab a few assets and start to build a defensive identity.

Sac only does it if Sabonis behind the scenes demands out. That future first would need to be the best OKC has too. Perry would have to like Topic as well.

There's no deal to be made here. If Sacramento is trading Sabonis, they need to get back someone who is plausibly now, or could likely develop into, the best player on the team. For OKC, Hartenstein fits the team's needs better than Sabonis, he's younger, he's cheaper, and he's on a contract they specifically constructed to have flexibility when all the extensions hit a year from now. (And, by the way, his EPM is substantially better than Sabonis's, because his defensive value is so high.)
