Spurs-Sixers swap picks

Pretty simple idea - Harper doesnt make much sense with the spurs as they are currently constructed but would likely fit well next to Maxey.

Does #3 + McCain for #2 work value wise for both teams?

McCain was a fun story, but I don't think he gets you from 3 to 2. Unless the Spurs want Edgecombe or Bailey anyway and are willing to settle for a small sweetener.

One of the best prospects in the past 6 years doesn't make sense with lesser prospects at his position, so the Spurs trade him for a smaller guard?

If the Spurs loved Bailey, this could work. The Spurs need a scoring guard off their bench. It's part of why moving down and drafting Tre Johnson could work if the incentive is strong enough. This is the most elegant way to do it.

Nope. Ace is a better fit in Philly. The Sixers aren’t trading assets to move up to get Harper. If he falls to three. Fine.

Spurs aren't doing this.
