Mavs/Bulls/Thunder feels too obvious

PJ to OKC
White to Dallas
Williams/Dieng/15 to Chicago
Thunder rent a big forward that fits perfectly
Dallas gets their stop gap shot creator/6th man and shed a little salary as they are expensive
Bulls get a first and a look at Dieng for a player they likely won't pay after paying Giddey this summer
Boring sure, but fits everyone's needs.

i dont think PJ is worth 15. He would be a bench player in OKC

I bet they'd pay it. Or something like it if they wanted to use it on a rookie. He's something they don't have and I've seen Thunder posters here willing to pay something similar.
But if Washington doesn't have enough value for White, Dallas should keep him and use the Powell/Hardy/OMax matching and the Lakers pick.

I don't think White is worth #15 either.
Maybe OKC sends their 2026 1st instead.

What about White for PJ straight up?
Delusional Bulls try to compete and add the player they want PWill to become. Dallas gets their shot maker and playmaker without sacrificing defense as White is a larger PG.

Yeah its simpler, which is always better. I keep hoping for Bulls fans that Chicago wouldn't do something like that, but yeah you can't rule it out.

If the bulls were indeed delusional on trying to win they probably hang onto white instead altogether. I could see an Ayo+ for PJ trade make sense though

It doesn't for Dallas though. Dallas needs more offensive juice than Ayo.

OKC should do it just so that they don't need to face PJ again. The guy turns into a star everytime against them.

Onlynreason PJ is worth 15 is that he's expiring, he's worth more, OKC should jump on this.

For us dopes who see 4 different Williams players on two of those teams that no one is concerned about you're talking Brandon Williams of DAL?
He looks like an interesting 3rd PG for the Bulls behind Giddey and Ball, so not all that impressed. Dieng has pretty much run dry on potential. The Bulls don't need to take a look at him in a red uniform, he's 3rd string at best, he's shown what he's got in parts of 3 seasons, it's half the minutes and production that they've gotten from Patrick Williams who they have signed.
The Bulls have #12 who isn't going to crack the lineup so what do they do with #15? You've given them 3 players for one when they have 14 contracts, they have to make trades and buyout even more guys. If there's a way to give them a 2026 pick when they have way fewer players under contract then there's a discussion to be had
