Spurs get: Giannis
Celtics get: Vassell/14/MEM 2027 1st
Grizzlies get: Brown
Bucks get: Castle/Bane/2/ ATL 2027 1st / Spurs 2029 1st / Spurs 2031 1st

Other smaller pieces would need to be involved to make $$$ work.

Spurs get Giannis
Celtics get salary cap relief, reset for a year, get a 1st this year and unprotected 2027 1st
Grizzlies get upgrade in Brown
Bucks - A lot a promising talent with getting assets back.

What are the "other small pieces" to get salary to work?

Spurs are sending out 36.6 Million and taking in 54.1 Million.

I think this deal is fair with filler without Bane, personally. Why doesn't Boston just take Bane for themselves?

Then they get cut out.

Bane/Koncher/1st for Brown
Brown for Vassell/Konchar/Branham/3 1sts
Vassell/Branham/2 1sts for Bane

Memphis gets Brown
Celtics save a ton of salary and get future assets
Spurs get Bane who is a seamless fit on the roster and retains Castle/#2

Huge overpay by the Spurs.
