Philly-Portland
Philly trades:
2025 FRP (#3), Paul George, Drummond, and Eric Gordon
Portland trades: 2025 FRP (#11), Deni Avdija, Camara, Jeremi Grant, and a Future 1st round pick.
Philly moves back in the draft but gets three very solid wings to go with Maxey, McCain, and Embiid. They also move off of George’s bad contract. I love Avdija and the way he plays is infectious. Philly still gets a late lottery pick which Morey has been good at using and a future asset.
Portland gets to move up for Ace to pair with their solid young core. PG could be resurrected as the main option and then dealt later.
Could also see Ayton in this deal instead of Grant for the shorter contract and to make Philly more competitive if EMBIID is not going to play.

Seems like an overpay for Portland.
#3 + PG for #11 + Deni + Grant is close on value to me.

No interest from a Sixers perspective. Ace is a great fit.

Re: Philly-Portland
Easy no for me.
IMO, there's not a significant difference between #3 and #12 in this draft. It is extremely flat.
I also have Ace rated closer to 9 or 10 on my board than #3...

Too much for #3.
#2 us Harper. #3 is whoever.

That's not close at all.

I would do that for POR, provided a follow up deal was on the table for #2.

Yes, this seems WAY off
Honestly, if I were Port I wouldn't trade Deni for #3 straight up
Port should just stay at #11 and hope to get lucky

Re: Philly-Portland
This feels like a desperate attempt to be a win now team for the 76ers, even if the value in this case is good on paper. If Joel Emiid isn't at all healthy next season, the 76ers are going a mediocre to bad team regardless and with the pick being only top 4 protected, we need to give ourselves the best chance of getting a blue chip prospect as possible in this year's draft.

This is a laughably bad offer. No way the 76ers Front Office is moving back 8 spots just to take another bad contract in Jemari Grant, while getting someone who can only play 10-35 games per season.

Hell no. Not sold at all on Ace. This is a 2 player draft to me and then it flattens considerably.

Re: Philly-Portland
Whole trade seems overly complicated.
It should be: #3 + filler for #11 + Deni
No need to add additional pieces.
The odds of selecting an All-Star with the 3rd pick in the NBA draft are estimated to be around 56.7% based on the last 30 years of data.
The probability of a player drafted at pick 11 in the NBA becoming an All-Star is around 12.86%.
Trade depends entirely on whether you view a sure thing in Deni (24 years old, 6'9" SF, 3 years at $14,375,000/$13,125,000/$11,875,000, 24-25 stats: 16.9Pts, 7.2Reb, 3.9Ast, 47.6FG%), being worth that gap.
For Portland: You do this only if you feel like there is a franchise tier player available at #3. But if you aren't certain and wind up with a really good starter or even a bench player/bust, then you just traded away a really good starter and a later lottery pick with a rookie scale contract.
For Philadelphia: You do this only if you feel there are no franchise tier players available at #3. If you feel like this draft is just going to land a starter tier player or a bench/bust player at #3, then dropping to #11 and picking up a really good player in Deni (who is on a very favorable contract and is win-now ready) makes sense. Depending on the filler, the 76ers could also probably dump a dead weight contract.
Not for or against it. But a simple draft based trade with the odds and known return to justify the difference in odds clearly stated.

Re: Philly-Portland
For the Sixers, as much as the rest of the league's fans are down on PG, I don't think the Sixers are. I think if they are able to start the season with some semblance of a team, there's every reason to think PG can return to how he played the season before. Feels very short sighted to trade him with assets for lesser assets and worse player(s).
Also, I could seem them moving back a few picks to whatever pick where they have players in the same tier, but I think #11 is too far back.

This cannot be a serious counter. 11 and a future pick don't get you close to 3 and PG for Grant is further value loss for Philly.

I think that’s part of the disconnect. I wouldn’t trade Grant straight up for PG.
35 years old vs 31. Owed 20 mill more each year for the next 3. I don’t think it’s even close honestly.
