Who says no? PG + No. 3 pick for KD and future considerations?

Post#1 » by walk with me » Sat May 17, 2025 6:25 pm

I thought of this deal on my own and feel it makes sense for both sides cause the suns are a broken franchise with an unhappy KD and Sixers window is tiny since Embiid probably has 2 good seasons left max with the way his knees are.

I don’t think it makes sense for the Sixers to take any of the available players in this years draft considering their roster build and timeline. Anyways looking to see what rgm thinks

too risky to do that given uncertainty of embiid's knees

Waste of number 3 pick imo.

Yes from the Suns, I'd even add in the 1st we have this year from CLV.

A strong no from the 76ers. Kevin Durant is old and doesn't have this level of value anymore. The 76ers also should be trying to build for future, instead of wasting assets on win now moves.

That would be disgusting for the Sixers.

They already have their get out of jail card with Maxey, McCain + 3 pick to build with for the future.

Yeah, I’d keep 3. Phoenix would need to add a lot. And then Philly still shouldn’t break up their asset. If Joel didn’t have any injuries, I think you could pitch this with Phoenix adding ‘

I like the idea of Paul George and Kevin Durant becoming Moses Malone vagabonds for the final stages of their career so I support this trade.

The 76ers own all of their picks from 2028 onward, so they have that avenue to rebuild, but number 3 seems like an over-the-top offer. Would the Suns include Dunn and his late-season FRP this year to balance the trade? Or maybe the Suns drop to number 6 or 7 and then send each other a package?..

PG+3 for KD/Dunn+29?

Or
PG+ 7 to SUNS
Oubre+ 3 to NOP
KD/H.Jones to 76ers

Or..
PG+ 6 to SUNS
KD +18 +? To 76ers
3 to WIZARDS

Horrific Sixers trade.
