Cavs / Nets

Post#1 » by JJ_PR » Sun May 18, 2025 8:56 pm

Cavs get: Nic Claxton, Cam Johnson, 8th pick, and 19th pick
Nets get: Donovan Mitchell

Why?
Cavs turn Mitchell into useful role players and prospects on cheap deals.
Nets land the coveted star they're looking for.

This is insanely bad for the Cavs.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

you'd hope there would be a high-end young player on the way in if Mitchell is on the way out

Not a chance the Cavs do it.

Easy no from Cleveland but you can have Okoro and Garland for this package.
