Bulls get: John Collins
Jazz get: Patrick Williams, Jalen Smith, 2 seconds
Why for Chicago: Get better right away for doomed play-in push 35 while also shedding future salary.
Why for Utah: Take on bad money for picks and maybe you can revive Pat Williams' value enough to dump him for an expiring later without having to give up picks.

Jalen is wasted here with Utah not trying to win, send him to another team for another 2nd for Utah.
But then Utah shouldn't take on that Williams contract for a couple of 2nds.
Amazing for Chicago though. Even just as a salary dump its amazing.

A year, or even two, ago I would have been all in for getting Collins for the Bulls. It's now the summer of 2025, Matas Buzelis started post deadline and is the future at the PF for the Bulls, they don't need John Collins especially at his price high price. They need a shooter at the SF, that could even be another former Hawk, Kevin Huerter. Patrick Williams is hated by so many here but coming off the bench is his new role and he'll come in to camp healthy for a change.
Pay attention, the Bulls want to move Vucevic and have Zach Collins and Smith cover the 5 spot. In the event the move Vuc, no backup center but too many Collins'.

This seems I don't see a team trading a first for Smith. The Portland pick for taking Williams' contract, maybe with some seconds, seems okay to me.

Doesn’t make any sense for the Jazz.
