Chi sends Port pick to OKC and PWill/JCarter (buyout)/#12 to Utah
Chi gets Dieng/Collins/#21
Utah sends Collins/#21 to Chi
Utah gets PWill/JCarter (buyout)/#12/#24
OKC sends #24 to Utah and Dieng to Chi
OKC gets Port pick
OKC saves $/roster spots and moves a 1st to the future (could easily be a #15 pick in the next 3 seasons)
Utah keeps the tank going, adding the #12 to take on PWill (who, in theory, can be salvaged)
Chi clears a bunch of 2026 cap space while getting better for next year (FO/owners against tanking)
White/Ayo/Ball
Giddey/Huerter/Ball
Matas/Phillips/Ball
JCollins/Dieng/#21 (Fleming hopefully)
Vuc/ZCollins/Smith
I would still try to deal Vuc as well

I would do this. I'm not sure Chicago should be spending assets to dump PWill, though, or at least this much? I'd probably do Clarkson + Svi for PWill + POR 1st.

I know Chi fans might not like this idea, but the thought of dumping PWill is VERY appealing to me. Our FO won't tank, so this saves us A TON of $ moving forward, and makes us a better team. It'd free up $18 million next summer, plus the added benefit of not having to see JCarter play occasionally.
Also, I think one of these bigs falls to #21 and we can get Newell/Fleming/Sorber/Wolf/Beringer there (on a much cheaper 4 year deal too)
I actually support the Bulls going after Lauri more, but this is another idea

From an OKC perspective, this feels solid.

Utah would rather get its pick back from OKC, so they can keep #24 if Utahs pick is returned.

From a Chicago point of view, God no.
What is the goal here? Trading back and dumping assets to get rid of Williams is just a horrendous idea. His contract is bad but it is not crippling bad, Chicago has no reason to trade their pick unless it's a clear upgrade and this is not anywhere close to being near positive for the Bulls.

Terrible for the Bulls.
Let's say Port pick & #21 cancel each other out, we're sending out 12 & PWill for a couple of solid but nothing players. Why do we need to clear cap space? We're acquiring young talent, not throwing away assets.

Don’t understand this trade at all. Why include to 1st rounders from the bulls. Just keep p will and see if he develops at all. Has those picks to potentially find a gem. It’s the only chance the bulls have. Cap space is useless. Most free agents don’t want to come to chi anyways. Stay away from Lauri. Dude is always hurt.
