Pels: Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony, Wendell Carter Jr., Tristan De Silva, Jett Howard

Magic: Herb Jones, CJ McCollum, Jordan Hawkins, Elfrid Payton, Kelly Olynyk, Brandon Boston

edit: a revised simplified trade b/t these teams to consider:

Pels: Suggs/KCP

ORL: Herb/CJ/Hawkins

Need reasons.

But calling Suggs non-core feels off. Orlando doesn’t consider this imo.

I love trades but I think these deals are just too difficult and unrealistic to assess. Teams don't trade half rosters for half rosters. Focus on the meat of the deal instead of finding a couple sides, an appetizer, dessert and a beverage.

Herb Jones doesn't really solve Orlando's problems and actually accentuates the issues of playmaking and shooting. Just a poor use of resources for Orlando, as good as he is.

I like how it fleshes out each team's lineups. Orlando can just take a PF and a wing in the draft and the Pels can take a C or PG at #7.

CJ/Herb/Franz/Banchero/Isaac
Elf/KCP/Harris/#16/Goga
Black/Hawkins/#25/Houstan/Wagner
Boston

Cole/Suggs/Murphy/Zion/#7
Alvarado/Reeves/Howard/Karlo/Missi
Wendell Carter Jr.

I've been a little too caught up on the salary matching, this trade is matched with a difference of $4,000 haha. It certainly is more than just the meat of it and should be wittled down. trying to see what would stick, might get a better view of what is extraneous from all yall by just having too much to start and working backwards from the peoples gripes haha. I was just thinking these two teams could have chemistry maybe.

My more simplified trade involving these teams would be:

Pels: Suggs/KCP

ORL: Herb/CJ/Hawkins

ok ORL thinks about it because they get one of the best defenders in the league in Herb who can take some of the pressure from having to guard the other team's best scorer off Franz & Banchero, and a pro scorer leader in CJ to take some ball handling and creating pressure off.

Pels do it to combine two distinct roles into production from one starting role, and conversely the Magic do it to get two starting roles over 1, hopefully increasing offensive and defensive efficiency.
