Bulls send CWhite and DTerry to Orl and Port pick back to Blazers
Bulls get JHoward, #11, #25, Thybulle
Blazers send #11 to Chi, with Tybulle
Blazers get CAnthony/#15/their pick back
Orl sends #15 to Port along with CAnthony
Orl gets CWhite, DTerry
Orl gets their scorer-a great fit with Suggs and KCP
Blazers move back a bit and get their pick back
Chi takes a step back but gets #11, #25 and JHoward-setting them up better for the summer of 2026 for cap space/young talent

Is Anthony expiring? And Portland needs to shed Simons if bringing in another score-first guard.

White isn’t worth x2 FRP’s.
Acquiring White who reportedly wants $40AAV without shipping out KCP is really bad cap management.
Orlando passes.

I don't like this for Portland.
#11 <=> #15 + Pick back
I can see this as being fair value. However, I don't think I would do that for Portland. There is a legitimate chance the future Portland pick turns into 2 seconds (which then turns this into a bad trade).
Thybulle <=> Anthony
I personally prefer Thybulle. Also Cole has 1 more year on his contract. This makes it an easy no for Portland.

Doesn't OKC own pick #15?
Could have sworn Chicago had #12. Zero chance they trade #12 + future 1st to move up to #11. But with the pick reverting to future 2nds if Portland doesn't stop sucking, I could see a #11 for #15/Nance trade debt deal resolved move. Probably no reason to add other pieces unless either side really values Thybulle/Anthony.

Looks like the main pieces Bulls want are from Portland, so cut out Orlando. Blazers take Coby and their pick back for 11 and Thybulle, then the more minor details can be worked out.

Arent we trying to get rid of our own Coby in Simons?
I dont see much difference between the 2 - dont get me wrong Coby is a bit better but overall with Scoot and Sharpe the future at guard (Or at least we need to see if they are the future) then trading for Coby makes little sense IMO.

I almost added that Portland would then seek a follow up trade with Simons. In a vacuum he is comparable to Simons, but the small differences are impotent IMO. He’s a little bigger, a little better at D (still not great) I think fits what Portland is doing more than Simons. Plus I think he is better at pushing the tempo. Those differences are not just better in general, but makes him more playable in lineups next to Scoot or Sharpe.

Cant see this working, Coby is expiring and wants a high salary, Orlando would need to dump KCP to make sense
PDX basically is saying they wasted this last year to get a pick to tank next year... seems really bad for everyone involved, they should aim to get something out of Ayton at the deadline if he performs since its his contract year and injuries could happen to contenders that might offer a lottery protected pick + bad contract for him. Same for Simons and Grant. Draft BPA at 11

Portland trading for their pick back would actually indicate they are trying to win. It is already lottery protected, so if they planned on tanking, no reason to try to get it back. The other option is they want it back so they can trade can trade a bunch of picks, which would also most likely only be done in a move to add a good player.
