Houston gets: #8, #27, Cam Johnson.

Brooklyn gets: #10, Reed Sheppard, Dillion Brooks.

The Nets are looking for a set stone culture of high IQ, shooting and athletic talent. Houston has been looking for Cam Johnson since free agency.

I wouldn't give up on Reed this cheaply. You would have to absolutely love somebody unexpectedly still on the board at 8 and trust there isn't something wrong other teams know that you don't.

I don't think Houston sees Cam for Brooks as the major upgrade the OP seems to.

8 and 10 are pretty much a wash, they are comfortably in the same tier of players, so I don't see the jump as all that valuable. Would personally rather drop to 15 - 20 and try and nab a future pick, or trade out all together.

That would basically make it Reed and Dillon for Cam.

Cam is a nice player, but I am not particularly interested in buying high on him.

Reed is a great prospect and has a very high ceiling, and Brook is one of Ime's favorites. Would counter with Green and a 2nd for Cam.

I would not trade Dillon for Cam.

I've seen Cam on defense, his body frame holds up like wet paper against penetration, doesn't have great foot speed either. It's one of those moves that looks great on paper, but I think would seriously hurt the team.

Green/10 for Cam/27 is closer

Yeah I’m here too.

Green is negative value on that deal right? I mean I know he has promise but he’s in year 4, never been a league average shooter and isn’t a defender.

Maybe the age can get someone to neutral, but off the rookie deal I think you’d want to see more at this stage.

I think Cam is worth late lotto. 10-14

Careful, we have a couple of Rockets posters who believe Green isn't just a positive defender, but a near elite defender.

I think slightly negative that it makes sense for bad teams to have at nuetralish bc of flashes and age. 10/Green for 27/Cam is also fair to me as well
