Pels do it to get fleshed out with rotation players and draft picks this year while moving off of Dejounte, and the Magic do it to add another mid-high lotto pick to their core of Banchero-Franz-Suggs.

I can’t believe a Pelicans fan proposed this. They should be hoping to land a star in the draft, not adding depth.

I wouldn’t trust injury risk folks joining pelicans .

Maybe a future 1st of Orlando's is added with protections and that swings it? I have made a lot better returns trading #7 on other trades i made, truth be told though.

Re: Magic move up to #7
Dumping mediocre starters like Murray makes no sense.
New Orleans may not be picking #7 again for the next couple seasons if Zion can stay healthy, which makes trading #7 a bad decision. Even worse, if New Orleans is picking #7 or above in the near-tern is because Zion can't stay healthy and that means New Orleans should value #7.
I can't rationalize NOP trading #7 for nobodies and lesser picks. #7 packaged for a star? Count me in, but this isn't it.

Hi nolaPELSfan, how are you? I've noticed you have been posting a lot of trades in the last few days on here, on the tigerdroppings Pels forum, and on fanspo.
Have you been a fan for a long time and starting to get into posting trade ideas? One suggestion-- simplify the trades. If there's too many players and picks involved, it's not as realistic and harder to understand. Have fun, but remember to pace yourself.

Do I need to get a VPN?! Youre making the Internet seem like a small place rn.. (twilight zone theme)

Truthfully theres just not actually any trade chemistry between these teams I don't think, though I'd thought there might be. I was originally trying to trade for Suggs involving #7 somehow; best i could get was #7, CJ & Elf for Suggs, 16, 25 & 46, but I don't think either team does that especially ORL. So those are both just bad trades probably in retrospect, but simple in that theres only 2 teams being involved, convoluted a bit in that salary needs to be matched though (too much going on), and ignoring that a 3rd team nay need to get involved for some reason, but 3 team trades can be too much from the jump. But you can understand the trades, if not the motivations. They can also be simplified oftentimes or a 3rd team suggested later, thats why i like feedback to see if anythings really there. In this case there really isn't it seems. On fanspo i'll delete em and rework em, thats what i hope to do in the thread with help here. You don't get much engagement on other sites, not of as much quality.
