Jrue for Rozier

Jrue Holiday for Terry Rozier

Boston saves money both up front and moving forward

Heat add a gritty vet to their backcourt to help lead the team on and off the court.

No thanks. That is a HUGE financial commitment for a declining player. We're close to being out of the tax, and we're trying to avoid the repeater tax. This is just an easy no imo

Hornets trading Rozier to the Heat was a heist

It would meet the Celtics salary reduction needs.
They could stretch Rozier and even save more.
For the Heat though, I personally think they should go in a different direction but IDK. If they wanted to win now, then I could see it, but they should be looking at a soft rebuild imo.

If Miami was also doing Durant I actually really like this. And I do not believe we can rule out Miami as a KD team.

I don't either, I just think it would be a massive mistake.

The first reason this can't happen is because Pat Riley is not on speaking terms with the Celtics.

Kyle Anderson would need to be in the deal to make the cap math work.

This trade doesn’t happen in a vacuum, but I can see Miami rolling the dice on Jrue if it’s just a money commitment.

Jrue pairs really nicely with Herro in the backcourt but adding him alone doesn’t get Miami over the hump.

Jrue/Herro/Durant/Bam/Ware is interesting
Highsmith, Jacquez, Love anchor the bench

Wiggins/Robinson/Jovic/min sign and trade for Durant with picks

Miami has about $30mm below the 2nd apron to round out the final 4 roster spots. Could potentially get creative to use part of the non taxpayer MLE and stay under the 1st apron

I agree there could be a 3 way deal with Miami, Boston, and Phoenix.
