Dallas sends: Klay/Hardy/Powell/LAL 29 1st
Dallas receive: Sexton/2nd worst of UTA/LAL/MIN/CLE 27 1st
DEN send: Nnaji/Saric/min contract
DEN receive: Klay
UTA send Sexton and 27 1st
UTA receive: flotsam and 29 LAL 1st unprotected.
Dallas get a staring level on ball guard, dump deals, downgrades LAL 1st, send Klay to contender
Denver turn flotsam into legit 25 MPG shooter with wealth of experience, next year can use his expiring contact.
UTA send Sexton for useless deal, upgrade 27 bad 1st for 29 unprotected.

Look, I would adore this, but Sexton is despised around the league for reasons I don't understand (he's even loved by other players but GMs and coaches just hate him) so I doubt we're getting anything of value for him.
If you can wrangle up two future seconds, you can probably get Sexton. An unprotected 2029 pick is just completely out of the realm of possibility.
We asked the Magic for their worst 2025 first for Sexton and got told to **** off. Even the Magic didn't want him somehow.

Easy yes for Denver. I like Nnaji more than most but the coaching staff in Denver will never give him a real chance.

Re: DAL/DEN/UTA
This leaves denver with 6M and 3 roster spots to fill before 2nd apron with lots of holes left to cover. Dont think this is what denver needs (esp if they intend to keep mpj)

It's one roster spot, Jazz and Mavs can send them 2nds this draft and DEN send future 2nd to the Mavs, this gives them 2 2nd rd exceptions.
I wouldn't mind the hardcapping at 2nd Aprin, they shouldn't cross it anyway.

Right that leaves about 3-4 million for last roster spot which probably isnt enough to get a significant contributor

Klay is significant, next year they'll have 60M expiring and 3 picks to trade and can make more serious retool

Orlando rejected it according to reporting or on this board in mock trades?

According to reporting. Our best local reporter said the Jazz couldn't get any firsts for him and he said this when specifically asked about trade to the Magic for the worst 2025 first.
