Combining a few ideas, but not sure if this works for anyone. Don't think the Mavs should go in this direction, but I can see them doing this.
LAL In: PJ, Gafford, #28
LAL Out: Reaves, Rui
BOS In: Reaves
BOS Out: Jrue, #28, #32, 2027 1st, 2026 1st swap, 2026 2nd
DAL In: Jrue, 2027 BOS 1st, 2026 BOS 1st swap (both the pick and swap are top 4 protected)
DAL Out: PJ, Gafford, Powell
ATL In: Rui, Powell, #32, 2026 BOS 2nd
ATL Out: None
Lakers fill their center need and a wing defense via two former Luka teammates.
Celtics upgrade their roster to stay somewhat competitive without Tatum. They also save $18m and get very close to the 2nd apron.
Mavs get a PG solution who fits nicely if they make a playoff run after Kyrie gets back. Jrue fits the mold of defense that Nico seems to want.
Hawks take on a lot of expiring salary for two seconds, but Rui can fit nicely next to Trae.
