Anger is a kind of excitement. Therefore, I expect the Blazers to have a very exciting offseason of inking Ayton, Simons, and Sharpe to massive extensions.

I don't know about exciting vs boring, but the ones that I am most interested to watch—setting aside Utah—are Brooklyn, Houston, Miami, Milwaukee, and Portland.

If OKC falls short, they might be in there too.

For least I'll go:
Celtics (trading talent away)
Cleveland (no/few changes)
Denver (no flexibility)
Indiana (no/few changes)
Sacramento (most likely doubling down on their roster)
Memphis (moving a bit of salary but remaining otherwise the same)
One extra, but still, I don't expect much from these teams.

Most...
-ORL's sleepy GM has publicly put the fire to his own feet, stating that "we are pivoting to win-now" and conceding that ORL will have to concede some defense for offense...they have two frps this year and swap rights with PHX/WAS next year. The stage is set...
-BOS has to do something...nothing fun, but there will be action
-PHX's owner has no chill, which is fun...I expect 2 of KD, Beal, and Booker(least likely) being moved
-Never bet against MIA standing pat...the East is wide open
Least...
-I agree that DET will focus on retaining their guys (which isn't a bad plan, IMO).
-I see BRK kicking the Free Agent can down the road another year...likely getting a ton of offers to help other teams make deals and grabbing draft equity for their stash.
-OKC has everything going right for one more year, before they have to address their $$$ concerns. They'll ride out the summer...maybe swap some picks

In a sense the Celtics off season could be pretty exiting….though Brad already promised no fireworks.
Maybe interesting is a better word than exciting.
They are going to shave some salary and need to make a plan to reset the repeater and have a contender around Tatum when he is back.
There are some pretty extreme paths and more subtle slow plays to accomplish this.
I think it will be Interesting anyway.

This is the first year in twenty seasons that I can’t give people good answers on what MIN is likely to do.
1. They have consecutive WCF trips. Most previous years, they were rebuilding, lottery teams. Do they roll it back?
2. They have a GM that is willing to take big swings.
3. They have new ownership, and we have no idea how much they are willing to spend.
4. They are over the second apron. Will they try to cut salary to get below it for rules freedom?
5. They need to negotiate new contracts to Randle, Naz Reid, and NAW - important pieces in their past success.
I don’t know if it will be “exciting.” But it is certainly confusing.

Yeah we all have different definitions of exciting. For some its only about big huge trades/signings. For me, cap manipulation is exciting, so teams trying to navigate tax/apron lines especially those still trying to compete is exciting. I get for many here, they don't care about any of the financial stuff. Though its surprising a bit they would find their way to this board under this CBA -- there just is no avoiding it any longer as just "a billionaire's money, I don't care".
