Oubre(assuming he opts in here, if not this trade will be executed once the drafted player is signed and eligible to be traded)
#3

for

Miller
#34

Philly is in this place where with Embiid and PG they need to try and win but they also need to be thinking about a post-Embiid world. So they sacrifice a couple of cheap rookie years but get a guy more ready to help right now.

Hornets pull back two rookie years with their choice of guys after the top 2. Getting a similar level of player but with more runway.

Like it for Philly, but I think the Hornets likely stick with the bird in the hand.

This likely sets Charlotte back from winning even further and doubt they have the patience for that.

Value is fair enough. I would pass though. I just like B. Miller.

Would be open to offers for Mark Williams though.

if reports are to be believed, Miller is the only player Charlotte are refusing to trade

Charlotte can’t rebuild forever. Miller looks promising when healthy

Nah no chance we trade Miller especially not for a #3 pick.

We already have a better version of Ace Bailey. No need to flip Miller just to get a worst version.

I think #2 for Miller would be more of a discussion (with pieces to balance as needed). San Antonio probably declines, but a Fox/Castle/Miller trio could be a nice fit.

Alternatively, how could the Wizards go up to 3? I posted with 6+18, the consensus is that's insufficient. What could they add? Taking out GP (+3) in exchange for Middleton/Bey/Holmes (+6) seems bad for the Wizards. Maybe Middleton/Bey/Holmes +18 for PG+3?

Wait, so they basically trade Brandon Miller for a pick likely to become Ace Bailey, who, best case scenario, becomes Brandon Miller? Why not just keep Brandon Miller then?

Miller is the only guy on that team I probably wouldn't trade.
