Coby White

Post#1 » by SNPA » Thu May 29, 2025 7:22 am

What would it take to get the Bulls to move him? Would a pick-based package work?

I think Sac should be asking about him.

The Bulls aren't looking to trade him, but if Sacramento wants to give up future firsts for him then I'd do it.

But I don't know why the Kings would be interested. They have Monk, Devin Carter, Keon Ellis at the guard positions. They could use a point guard more than a scoring guard.

Coby White is on an expiring contract.

The Nets or some other team can just sign him into cap space next Summer.

Anyone trading for him would want an extension and White should fire his agent if he is advised to do it.

I’d be interested in doing some type of sign and trade with Garland and Okoro for Giddy and White or Garland and Strus for White and Vuc

I don’t understand Sac wanting another Chicago Bull guard. Doesn’t seem what the team needs at all.

Something like

Monk to Dallas
PJ and White to Sac
Hardy and Sac future first to Chicago

With Dallas throwing in whatever amount of seconds (2?) they can.

Yeah, same but didn’t want to assume so tried to make a deal that sort of makes sense around it

Most Kings fans assume DDR is gone.

Even then, Sac shouldn’t want LaVine, Monk and Coby..

The Giddey S&T is probably more fair to CLE
The Bulls would trip over themselves to phone the Garland/Vuc trade to the league office.

I can't imagine the Cavs wanting to move Graland that badly to do either

The real catch for the Bulls would be getting Jarrett Allen plus something for Vucevic and White or Dosunmu or other. Vuc comes in and backs up Mobley for his expiring year and they cut 3 years escalating from $28M, not many other ways to save $90M

I'd rather trade Garland, Okoro, Porter, and Strus for Giddy, White, and Vuc in a S&T 2 part deal.

Trade 1 - Garland for Giddey

Trade 2 - White and Vuc for Okoro, Strus, and Porter

I feel like I am taking crazy pills here. Why the hell would Cleveland, a team with title aspirations, trade Garland for Giddey?

Well they'd get White, Giddey, Vucevic, and cut salary all of which are better fits next to Mitchell than Garland. The only reason Cavs want to move Garland is to have a bigger guard that can play next to Mitchell.

Garland for Giddey would just have to happen first so they could fall under the 2nd apron and aggregate salaries to complete the rest of the trade.

Na, we should offer Sabonis and Monk for Vuc, White and Ball. I think the secret to unlocking Lavine?Derozan is a floor spacing big and a play making guard

Houston in: Coby White and Jevon Carter

Chicago in: Reed Sheppard and Jock Landale

Rockets, with championship aspirations, strengthen their guard rotation and get Coby for one more season on a very team-friendly deal. Carter's really just here for salary purposes, but can provide some shooting spark off the bench at times.

For the Bulls - they get Sheppard with 3 years remaining on his rookie deal as a buy low option after an unimpressive rookie season. They also add in some big man depth in Landale who comes with built in chemistry with Giddey from playing with Australia.

I think Dallas should do everything they can to get Coby this offseason.

I'm interested in what his value is as well... he is young and productive, but on an expiring and an UFA. What type of player and/or pick would he be worth?

They would not. That particular fan doesn't like Garland and would trade him for anything.

I wouldn't say almost anything but the proposal was Giddey, White, and Vuc for Okoro, Strus, and Garland. Giddey for Garland was just part one.
