Rank contract valuation with a twist.

Post#1 » by zimpy27 » Tue Jun 3, 2025 4:19 pm

The 3-year vet max in 25-26 is ~$58m per season for 3 seasons.

I want you to rank the top 10 players you'd happily give that contract to.

Think of it from the perspective of your team trying to contend.

I assume this would include guys too young to actually get such a contract. So essentially who you think will have the most on-court impact over the next 3 seasons.

1) Jokic
2) Giannis
3) SGA
4) Luka
5) Wemby
6) Hali
7) Mobley
8) Mitchell
9) Edwards
10) debate between Brunson and AD, but not really comfortable with either at full 35% for 3 years.

Obviously Tatum would have been on the list if healthy but essentially missing a season drops him off. Really no one else I'd be comfortable going that high for.
